Apparently she looks similar to the old design except a lot younger (Lion-O’s age) and a little more modernized.
If she’s Lion-O’s age here she’s probably around the same age as she was in the old series since she was older than the Thunderkittens but younger than the other Thundercats.
Well Lion-O was (physically) older in the OS, so since she was shown to be slightly younger than him there, I think she’s the same age in the NS.

Why are people putting so much emphasis on what Pumyra will look like? I’m just curious. 
Okay then, what happened to the “Honor and Loyalty” part of the Code?
Shouldn’t Pumyra “Honor” her Supreme Monarch?

The problem is the “Truth,” which she doesn’t know. She thinks he abandoned the other cats and ran away when he’s actually been fighting as hard as anyone else but has a much narrower focus because of Jaga and the Book’s instructions (as well as Lion-O’s desire to unite the other animals).
Once she knows the Truth the “Honor and Loyalty” seem to come, at least that’s the implication we got.
Curiosity, and a lot of it. I’m assuming we knew what the others looked like before the premier. We have no idea what Pumyra will look like. We don’t even know who will be voicing her.

Fans hate not knowing crap, even with all the talk of “spoilers” they still want to know what happens, two whom, how they look and how they sound. When you tease them with that information (like say, airing a particular episode early in one country) it drives them insane, especially when it’s the reveal of a fan-favorite character.
I absolutely agree. Even if they have lynxo in charge of the tower of omens looking after the thunderian refugees and pumyra travelling with the cats or whatever story they decide to use, I think they will pull it off. Its an ensemble show, so I imagine most episodes will be the entire group reacting to a threat, the occassional back story/spotlight show for the new characters (to balance it out, all the other cats have had one now, okay maybe cheetara still needs a stronger one), and maybe an episode or two to show how the new cats are bonding with the original cats, it can easily work. I don’t see why people are so worried.

I don’t think shell be a ‘gladiator’ though, more likely shell be a Thunderian captured and forced to fight, it just happens that she’s one of the ones who can handle herself in the pit.

Because she’s a primary character and everyone is excited and curious. Probably because we haven’t had any leaks either. But its no worse than any other speculation I don’t think.

Well said, that’s the way I see it too, although I was kind of hoping they might hold off on the gaining of reapect for an episode or so. That kind of anger is hard to let go of.
Yeah, not getting the whole “gladiator” thing. I honestly don’t think I would enjoy being forced to fight for others’ entertainment against my will, and I highly doubt she will. Like you said, she just happens to be one of the best at it.
I think arguments on the Code of Thundera are redundant in this show because there has been NO mention of it in any episode at all.
Personally I think the Code is something Lion-O will implement later on and isn’t something that currently exists in their society. I mean we saw how badly some of the commoners acted.
And btw most gladiators were slaves. Only a few were actually people who volunteered and wanted to fight.

True, very true. Also, I’ve said this before, but I’m not getting the whole “Pumyra not going with them” thing. Why would she want to stay a slave?
She goes with them. Jelenic said in an interview that she’ll be in “several” episodes.
Oh, I know. I was just stating that I don’t understand why people don’t think she will.
He said that they have a couple of episodes dedicated to her, but that doesn’t mean that once they’re done with that she just goes away. The other cats have had episodes dedicated to them and they stick around when they’re over. My guess is she goes through a short character arc that’s probably tied very closely to Lion-O’s (We know that season one is the Lion-O season, and from what I gather she seems a bit like he was pre-trials), but after that she sort of folds back into the rest of the recurring cast like Cheetara or the WilyTwins where she gets a few lines and an action shot per episode but no longer drives the story.
Exactly what I think. I think people fear that she may be pushed too far in the background, but considering there’s a possibility she might be smitten with Lion-O (don’t start on this, there’s already a thread), I think she’ll be around for awhile.
