Ms. Adlon can also pitch her voice pretty high too when she wants (and often does), but for me the charm is the trademark rasp in it (which is sexy as hell). Just for fun go watch Grease 2, she plays Dolores Rebchuck the younger sister of one of the Pink Ladies who ends up befriending the leading man. She was a cute kid.
We’re probably going to see another relationship. For most people that’s good. i think Lion-O deserves it.
Ms. Adlon also stars on the Showtime series “Californication.” I’ve only watched the first three seasons of the show and then just lost interest in it entirely.
Nah, don’t think so… In the D.O.W the WarDogs are conquerors from another world; a real, almost global threat to the Cats, but also to Mumm-Ra. In this ep, the Cats stumble upon the dogs on their turf, so no need for Mumm-Ra to interfere… the Dogs probably don’t even appear on his radar

Oh, my goodness!! I’m gone for almost a whole day and I’m greeted to images and previews of “The Pit”!! Like a good portion of you here, I love Pumyra’s character design, and having Pamela Adlon as Pumyra’s voice is PERFECT!! If you recall Pumyra’s voice in the original series, she sounded rough as well, so whoever cast her did Pumyra’s character some great justice here. I also love the act of betrayal here. The fact that she feels that Lion-O let her down when Thundera was falling speaks tomes and is an interesting dynamic.
I also know that someone here mentioned the end, where Pumyra mentions other cats in Mount Plun-Darr. I have a pretty good feeling that Lion-O is going to want to set an envoy to Mount Plun-Darr to rescue his enslaved people.
Personally, I loved the previews. -Even if there is a flashback scene with Dobo, Panthro and his days in the Pit, this looks like a very promising episode. I love that we’re getting a combination of story and action in this episode. There’s no doubt it’ll be up there with Song of the Petalars, Old Friends, Legacy and Native Son. This is indeed shaping up to be a great season.
I’m surprised nobody here mentioned that Pamela Adlon worked with Will Farrell in a little series, called the Oblongs. She played the voice of Milo Oblong.
What color would you guys say her eyes are? In the colored art Dan posted they look green, but in the still from the episode they look more like amber (or maybe I’m just colorblind).

This looks like it’ll be a fun watch. Pumyra is just beautiful. I like that she doesn’t look so typical hot chick action girl, like Cheetara.

Hmm, I wonder if she knows the fate of her parents. Maybe they were killed off, and she was taken hostage instead. Clearly, the poor girl has been through a lot. I can’t wait to see LIon-O’s reaction to being blamed for what happened. It’s not his fault, but I’m pretty sure he will feel responsible.

I forgot about Ms. Adlon’s role on “The Oblongs.” I’ve watched the show a few times. 
So far the voice actors are doing an excellent job adding the necessary depth and seriousness to the characters. Ms. Adlon is yet another good choice.
I knew Ms. Alden as Pamela Segall. Her voice was part of my childhood. I always tend to associate her with Otto from Time Swuad and Bobby from King of the Hill.
I had no idea that she’s Pumyra. I always think of her “boy voice.”
Yeah, she’s kind of skinny and not as muscular as Cheetara, less busty and narrower of hip. She definitely looks like someone who was forced into a life of fighting rather than raised to it like the other cats.
You have to wonder how much she really needs to beat Lion-O up over this, you know he’s going to be doing plenty of that himself. Hopefully once she gets over her grudge she becomes his fiercest supporter, and will suffer no ill spoken of him. Think Paul and Chani from Dune.
The sleeper must awaken!

This series does seem to have a certain Dune-vibe in some aspects. Lion-O’s saga does somewhat parallel Paul Atreides’.
The inner-workings of a librarian’s mind are an enigma…
