Yeah, I noticed that sequence when capturing from the dvd myself. Thought much the same thing myself - boy the Japanese animation influence showed through there :lol: Seems like the DVD’s offered frame capture opportunities the old encodes just didn’t. I saw a lot of shots I never noticed before from them!
Anyway, what I really wanted to post here for - and I hope this is the right place - is a gaffe I noticed on your Feliner prototype page. I was pointing someone there from my forum who was asking about that toy…I knew I saw a site somewhere that had some good info on that, and shoulda know it was here 
But at the bottom, above the toy catalogue image, the text tells you to click on it to see the alternate colored robear belle figure. Hmm, me thinks someone forgot to change part of the template? Figured, maybe while you were doing your site updates you could fix that. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s there and I know I always appreciate it if people take a moment to let me know when something’s not quite as it probably should be on my site
If this is a repeat or you already know, disregard of course.

A correction to the page showing Wilykit and the anime influence…
TCats was not animated in Taiwan, it was animated in Japan by a company called Pacific Animation. The art in TCats was in fact pure 80’s anime. Notwithstanding the contribution from Windwalker of model sheets etc. the actual episode animation was definitely Japanese.

As posted before I have been unable to do any work on web pages because of the lack of internet. However I will try to finish up the bootlegs before the week is over. Although Im not keen on a deadly I feel that we should however set a specific date to have material finished so everything can go live at once. If something is left out then it could be done as a small update within a week or two.

I really hate deadlines, but I agree that we need to think about a specific date now to do the next update - we originally said “end of February”, and that’s tomorrow!
I have some more pages I need to finish doing for the Wildstorm Comics subsection (which MannyF then needs to doctor with regards to the pop-up windows), and also ideally a couple more pages for the Episode Guide, and then I’m satisfied with what’s ready to go up at my end - my biggest concern is the incomplete update of Mark’s Animation Art Section, IMO that needs completing before we can go live with the next update.
Even though it’s a bit later than we originally planned, I’d like to propose an “Update Date” of Saturday 10th March, which is 10 days from now - I have quite a busy few days coming up, but setting that date should give me enough time to get what I need completed. What do you guys think?

That comic plate I said I was getting is finally in the mail (at least it is according to his email) Do you want to use that in your comic section update (providing it arrives in time)

It gives me a bit more time to perhaps add another couple of pages to the Variations and Foreign Figures sections!
Plus I still need to take about 5 more pictures and I’d sooner take them during the day using natural light because they always turn out much clearer and nicer then Hopefully I’ll have them done by the weekend fingers crossed!

I could certainly make it into a special feature, Matt, for sure! Now all I need to figure out is how exactly it was used, LOL! I have a rough idea, but want to make sure my information is as accurate as it can be - I may enlist the help of my “Comics Guru” Tim Perkins, in which case I may end up having to make it part of a future update if he takes a while to get back to me, but I definitely want to use it!

I’ve helped Chris with the WildStorm pages, so if all is good on his end, then those should be ready to go!
I’ll be making a new sticky thread that will have a list of all the content that will be ready for the upcoming update.
I’m not sure about the podcast but it seems to me that it wont be ready for the update which is allright since that will take a little bit of time to get set up. On my end the bootlegs section,customs and prototype toy art will be ready to go.

Apologies for the slight lack of eloquence with my post here, guys, I’m absolutely knackered, LOL! However, I just wanted to chime in my $0.02 and say that I’d go ahead with the relaunch this weekend as planned (or a later time if the rest of you guys prefer), and then update with the podcast launch as its own update, if the recording goes well maybe in a couple of weeks’ time?

As he rightly states above, MannyF has been doing a stellar job helping me out with the launch of the Wildstorm Comics subsection - the write-ups for the first 11 issues (basically the prequel #0, and then the first mini-series, each issue with two covers) are all done, uploaded and ready to go! The only problem I’ve had is making the pop-up windows work on the comics pages (the ones that display the larger version of the artwork), and also with the silly-looking alignment of #0 on the Wildstorm index page. Manny’s worked on both of these things.
I have to say that the pop-ups on the comics pages don’t work for me, but from experience this is a problem with my system rather than anything Manny’s done! Could I take the liberty of asking you guys to check these pages and LMK if they load OK for you?

I’d have preferred a slightly smaller gap between the last line of text and the button that says “ThunderCats” - but, I can live with it quite happily! Manny’s done an amazing job with the positioning of the #0 on that page!

I need to create a new “index” page for the Cartoon Guide subsection’s “Articles” section, and ditto for the About the Series subsection’s “Articles” section too. I’m embarrassed to say I’d forgotten I needed to do that!
The Scripts subsection is good to go, except I just need to resize and then upload a page that Matt scanned and then at my request rescanned - MannyF has very kindly watermarked this for me. This isn’t a hard job.

Ok fellas these are the sections that ARE ready for the update, actually they are live already and just need a formal announcement along with everything that will be ready for the update.

Along with these I will go ahead and open up the members section area with 2 comic books available. I have yet to get a response from queen lynxana but Im almost sure it wont be any problems. My plan with the help of those who have scans or can get scans will be 2 comics every 2 weeks or perhaps 1 comic per week which I think is the best way to go. For this update I will post 2 and then perhaps 1 per week after that. Any suggetsions on how far apart the comics should be posted is appreciated
