I’d like to get everyone to post here and comment what’s going to be done for the end of the month update so that we all have a clear understanding of what’s going to make the cut and what’s not. We’re a little over two weeks away from March so I kind of wanted to get a jumpstart to kind of get an idea of where everyone is. 
Only thing I’m working on is that Rankin-Bass article but I don’t think it’ll make the cut this time. I’m still doing some research and with the Fandom Awards going on right now, I’m busier with fandom stuff moreso than usual.
Hopefully, I can get it in for the next update. Do you try to update at least once a month here?

Well, we discussed trying to make one big update instead of making small updates and this is our first time doing it. I guess, if things go well, then we can continue to do the big updates, but we have to see how this one fares first. 
Just to let you guys know that I am not doing nothing, I am currently working with Mark to get his section ready for end of Feb..

I’m hoping to have the Writers Article done for the Cartoon Section, and some more appearances stuff for the Encyclopedia.
Oo, I should mention the Encyclopedia stuff wont necessarily be part of the update, just wanted to say it’s something I’m working on!
The bootleg section is set to role (just needs someone to make the pages html , all info is in my ftp folder I would try to do it but have no idea how. I am open to learning it though so if someone wants to teach me). The minis section has good headway and could probably go up with what I have in the minis post (I’ll write something up for it this week). I think MannyC has the customs section underway. The merch section might also be able to be started as a work in progress (i have to dig more stuff out to take pics of, and do some writeups)

Comics Section:
The thing I’m working on at the moment is getting the DC/Wildstorm subsection started - the write-ups for #'s 0 - 4 have been done for some time, I just need to HTML-ise them. I’m also going to put up the pages for #5 (both covers) with writer/artist/etc info, and with placeholder text for the Notes of Interest and review…
I’ll need some images watermarking - please can someone (maybe you, MannyF?) help me with this? And, I pray that the pop-ups will work OK when I modify the template to take these new pages - but, they shouldn’t be hard to do!

The only thing I’m not happy with is the way #0 displays all by itself on that page, it’s not very attractive - but, I wouldn’t have said there was a lot that could be done to improve it. If anyone has any suggestions to make about this, please feel free to do so!

Although I don’t want to commit myself to an exact number, my intention is to add at least a couple more pages to the Episode Guide - the page for episode 7, “The Terror of Hammerhand”, is already started, I just need to write the review! Once the DC/Wildstorm pages are done, the Episode Guide will be my #1 priority!

He-Fan, someone emailed me some links to clips featuring some TC voice actors doing other work just a short while ago. Newman was among them, if you’d like I can forward those to you. It’s fun to hear Might help you flesh out his bio, too.

Also, this is just my suggestion, but may be if you aligned the #0 issue to the left it would look a tad better. I understand your feeling about it looking weird as it does look out of place. It’s just a suggestion though.
I will be having th customs section and hopefully the bootlegs section up for the Feb update as well as an update to the price guide.
I can’t promise anything, but I’ll try and get at least a couple of entries done for the Variations sub-section

Yes please! That would be absolutely excellent, thank you!! Obviously if I make any additions to that article I would need to just run them past Martin, as he’s the author of that piece - but, I imagine things would be cool, and I’d certainly love to hear those clips too!

I actually did try that, and in terms of the placement of the image it looked 50x better - but, the only problem was that the title of the comic (i.e., the text “Issue #0”) then aligned to the left as well, as opposed to displaying centrally underneath the cover image. (Did that make sense, LOL?!) If you know of a way round that, I agree with you that visually having the cover image aligned left would probably be the way to go. LMK if you’ve any insight to offer, my friend, and as always I’d be really grateful for the assistance!

As for what I’m currently doing, I’m rearranging the layout of the front page to accomodate banners that will be displayed for revenue and affiliate offerings. In addition, I haven’t forgotten about the idea of graphics to promote the different sections of the site, so that is also in the works. And the podcast will be shown prominently on the front page…somewhere! I’m planning to add some new links to the community section as well.
I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to get the redesigned Toy Index done by the end of February, but I’ll try my best. No promises!
Neil and/or MannyC: Do you guys have plans to do the prototype artwork stuff? I’m not sure what the plans are for that and if it’s in the plans for this upcoming update?
Manny, my friend try not to overwhelm yourself. If you cant get to the redesigned Toy Section by February Im sure there is more time after that. I think all of us are sick of strict deadlines and just an overall goal is what I think we need so if its in the works, cool and we know that youre on it so dont sweat it much. I cant speak for Neil but until you mentioned the proto artwork I had totally forgotten about it. I could try getting to it but Neil may be the best choice on this one as I am currrently concentrating on getting the customs and bootlegs section done. However I think that the proto art could be a section that should be up in no time if we use a simple layout like the variations layout or even a layout like the instruction page. Im gonna try my damn best to get that up

Joking aside, I feel very positive about this update - when I think of how much we’ve done already with a couple of weeks still to go, it should be good!

LOL…well I think it took a few instances for me to realize that the website is something we should consider fun not work. That being said some sort of goal should be set but a strict deadline could be a cause of headaches, esp with everone having to devote times in their personal life.

I’m in the groove for knocking out some more of these, as I’m currently watching these episodes courtesy of my new UK region 2 Season 1 Volume 1 DVD set and so am going to write-up each episode as I watch it! I started a thread earlier this evening asking where I can lay my hands on the official Rankin-Bass synopsies for episodes 1 - 65, as shown in our original Episode Guide. Can anybody help me?
