I was recently on the ThunderCats Wikipedia page and noticed this:

“As of June 16, 2012, the show is currently on hiatus as it was not featured in Cartoon Network’s official 2012-13 schedule which led to speculations that the show has been cancelled. However, Cartoon Network has denied the speculations.”
There’s no source for this statement, but it hasn’t been removed from the site yet. Does this prove anything?
As said before, i think they are not in this lineup because it takes long time to make the episodes. Which would mean that instead of a new season each new Septempber, it comes every OTHER september and thus is not on for this years schedule.
Just using september as an example.
If this is true, I’m happily surprised. CN pretty much NEVER makes statements like this. If true, I’m sure we will all have a much happier summer. 
Or they might release the next season next July like they did with season 1. And if CN has denied the cancellation of the show. It’s more than likely hear something about next season at the San Diego Comic-Con.
Yes with you saying July next year was my point. It’s not on for this ears schedule.
Hopefully the long wait between season 1/2 is just because they didn’t wanna get fully invested into Thundercats incase it failed. If they do decide early on to do a season 3, they will start production during season 2. One can only hope.
I read an interview with the people who make Avatar yesterday. They said each season of their show takes two years to make.
That being said, I don’t trust Wikipedia without a source. Especially when people on the actual crew has said the decision hasn’t been made yet.
Well maybe Thundercats takes 2 years aswell.
That I doubt that maybe a year at the most. I think Dan said in the Thundercats now podcast it took them a year to make the first season.
Considering they probably have making episodes down to a formula now, I think the second season won’t take as long to make, considering they’re not starting from scratch.
I refuse to believe “ThunderCats” is cancelled. I ABSOLUTELY refuse to believe it.

And despite what they may think, it won’t make us shut up about it.
Here’s a scenario: Let’s say it isn’t cancelled. What they think is probably that we’re expecting a new season too early, but what they don’t realize is that only they know it’s confirmed for a second season. And another thing they probably think is that we’ll watch their channel more in hopes of seeing a new episode eventually.
In other words, they most likely think we’re stupid.
OOOHHHH How wrong they are on that one.
On of the things to consider too is the workload WB animation has. While they may not do the actual animation themselves they are producing multiple shows currently airing such as Young Justice, all the DC Nation shorts, Green Lantern, plus the new Batman series coming out, and that’s not even taking into consideration whatever projects they are doing that have not been released yet. SO their manpower seems stretched thin right now.
Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise because I for one could do for a change in writers for TCats to get a more consistent show if they decide to shake things up a bit. So while the show may not be cancelled they may tweak it. Remember they have a whole season to reflect/improve on now. You an’t start something unless you know what to fix from the previous version afterall.

Me neither. I’m still happy that Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated is on hiatus though.
