I’m pretty excited about this new angle they’re taking. It doesn’t FEEL like the Thundercats right now, but I’m pretty sure it will. Not including Panthro into any of the trailers makes me think your “guide” theory may be right. he probably lives out in the wild already.
Mumm-ra seems much more epic and an actual force to be reckoned with. Me likes 
I agree with the last 3 posts. Earth is small in comparison with many planets but it still offers lots of different religions,cultures oh well basically the whole earth has been fighting eachother at some point in time so it’s not hard to figure that the Tcats don’t know anything outside their kingdom.
Since it’s pretty much confirmed that the “new” thundercats will be in the series too I suspect they are also free roaming Third Earth just like Panthro.
Furthermore I want Mumm-ra to work on his own not solely as the leader of the mutants. The leader of the mutants is Slithe I want them all to plot fights based on their own ideas not only from mumm-ra’s command, offcourse they can work together.
2)This ,might bring some good points, provided that we are talking about diverse races and strong tribes. It will enrich the whole scenario to a large extent. It’s only left to see what they mean by ‘one Empire stood above all others’. And for God’s sake by ‘other Empires’ i hope this doesn’t go for the Wollos, Bolkins or the Micrits!!!
BTW, Tygra only visited once (Mossland Monster), and Pumyra never 
Back in the 80s, I hoped of a 5th season where they both (Pumyra and Tygra) finally got to live with them in New Thundera.
I Know my friend, besides Pumyra hardly appears in those episodes. But as we see Cheetara and the twins already in Third Earth, i suppose many trips must have occured back and forth.
Actually, they were on Third Earth just to hand the Feliner to Tygra so he could go to New Thundera.
I must confess, when I was a kid, I comforted myself thinking they visited ocassionally, even when we didn’t see them. Whata kid’s mind does 
In an other episode,‘Cracker’s Revenge’ where Capt. Cracker has freed the Lunataks from the land on Way-Out-Back and are preparing all together an assault on Third Earth, the Thundercats are getting aware of the situation and without further ado are running to the rescue to help their comrades on Third Earth.
In the same episode somewhere at the begining, we hear Snarf saying ‘Snarfer is making one of his pizza rans to Third Earth’ while they are trying to locate him around Sector 5 and warn him of possible danger.
My point is that the Thundercats in Thundera did care about their friends on Third Earth who were on their own and either through Snarfer or someone else they were seeing each other, every once in a while.
That is one of the continuity issues I always had with the original. The distance between ThunDera and Third Earth was lightyears and they had to use the suspension capsules. But a trip between Third Earth and New Thundera (same position as Old ThunDera) was close enough Snarfer could make a run from one to the other for food.
Personally, I saw leaving 2 on Third Earth as serving 2 purposes: supporting their Third Earth allies, and making sure that even if New ThunDera were to explode, there would still be a couple ThunderCats left.
As for “abandoning” them on Third Earth, my thoughts were that they still called them up on the video monitors to have chats.

To be honest, i didn’t watch that much of season 4, precisely ebcause of not the whole team being together, and the eps I watched (except Mossland Monster), I paid not too much attention to them.

About your first point, Tygra and Panthor explained in Thundercubs, that they have built something (don’t remember what), like a propulsor or something that they attached to the Feliner, that allowed them to get to New Thundera in only seconds.
About leaving them in Third Earth, I understand why was that necessary, an of course they kept contact somehow, but as I see it, they could have rotate the guard. And as I see it, Tygra was ncessary in New Thundera to design teh new cat’s lair.
Looks like I missed a whole lot, it sounds like the last two seasons didn’t even air where I lived. I have a lot of catching up to do! I was trying to introduce my daughter to the shows I watched and loved when I was her age, and I thought there were only the two seasons until I found this place. Now I’ll miss having given up cable and the Cartoon Network (which I started hating once they stopped airing old stuff in favor of their own stuff).
As far as officially organizing the seasons, there are only 2 seasons of the original. However, if I understand it correctly, Season 2 was split up and aired over the course of about 3 years.
No matter how you divide the seasons up, there were a grand total of 130 episodes.
I recall watching it for about two years in the afternoons, but the entire second half of episodes ring no bells for me whatsoever. The channel it was on where I lived stopped showing it and Silverhawks at the same time in favor of something else that I had no interest in (so I don’t recall what took their place… might have been Power Rangers).

About Snarfer, i guess he must have been the Delivery boy for Thundercats, in William Overgard’s ‘Side Swipe’ once again he was assigned to order Mexican food from the Berbil VIillage and take it back to the Tower of Omens!!And it looks like he always used his little spaceship to carry out his ‘delivery’ obligations because we see him taking the long way around Darkside!!
Yeah, exactly and at some point we listen to a conversation between Tygra and Cheetara where they explain that after installing these hyper drive units the trip to Thundera would take ‘half a Thunderian eon’ and the suspension capsules won’t be needed, and prior to that in Episode 42, the Feliner, the Thundercats took from Ratstar’s wreckage the hyper space mega condenser and installed it to their air-ship. So the Feliner became operational and was able to travel long distances to the planet of Snarfers and much later, to New Thundera. Both the hyper drive unit and the mega condenser enable them to go back and forth to New Thundera in no time.
What is funny about that is that, in Mossland Monster, Tygra decided to go through the meteorite rain because going around it would have taken him hours. So TCs can travel from one planet to another in less than one Thunderian eon (whatever it is), but to go form one part to another of the same planet would have taken them hours… lol
I wasn’t sure about this at first but I’m liking the idea more and more. Less sci-fi, more fantasy sounds good to me. I don’t really like the sound of Jaga’s voice though.
