I like the whole TCs army. I like seeing Tygra next to Claudus in so many scenes.
We got to see WilyKit and Kat there too… not so much Panthro though.
What bothers me is the Lion-O against tygra scenes, probably fighting for the right of being the Lord of the TCs. Not liking that idea really. Or maybe fighting his family -presumed adopted brother and his father (he fights Claudus as well)-, the persons he should love the most, was Lion’O’s final trial.
This is exactly what I wanted to see: more Thundera, Claudus as Lord of the Thundercats, and Grune before his betrayal and banishment. Granted, that’s pretty much what MotU '02 did in its first episode, but it’s a good formula and worth using again.
Remember the interview where the producer said Panthro’s been out exploring Third Earth? I’m guessing that’s why he’s not in the trailer.

I feel embarrassed asking this…but could that gold-like material be Thunderium? It makes sense…I think.
I like their Thunderian clothes more that the ones we’ve seen previously.
I’m not impressed at all, It is actually pretty lame in terms of visuals and animation. The “epic” music can’t hide it. The Street Fighter 4 Ova was equally lame too. I’m very worried for the berserk movie now :(.
I mean this guys did awesome stuff in the past and nothing in the trailer is as sophisticated in terms of design and animation like those works.

Whats with the having Reptilians as slaves though? Are Thunderians that cruel that they would enslave prisoners like that, or is it Grune’s doing?

We kinda see the Sword of Omens unveiled and bestowed upon Lion-O…maybe the awakening of the Sword’s power, also reawakens Mumm-Ra?
There’s a thought. I’ve noticed, looking at the toys, that the new Sword of Plun-Darr has something that looks a lot like the Eye of Thundera in its hilt; eyes have a tendency to come in pairs and I expect it has a stronger connection to the Sword of Omens than in the original series.
