Perhaps this has been answered, but do we know whose red eyes are panned over at the very start of the trailer from the new show?
My guess is Cheetara. She has red eyes in the show. Plus the blond bangs and the faint outline around the eyes
Ah, could be. Although in the other shots and art I’ve seen her eyes look more orange than the vibrant red shown at the start of the trailer. But everything else syncs of, so I’ll go with it.

I like it myself. I think this shows a good insight into character design. As TCats have clawed toes, there is a solid reason to have open toed footwear. It’s both function and makes good sense.
With claws exposed a TCat can use them to “dig in” and run with more traction. It also means that they would go through less footwear as the claws would be ripping the front of the shoes.
In my opinion this is great attention to detail and I like that they haven’t just said: Oh, they are cat people, so they should wear people shoes. They aren’t humans, so how would some things, like shoes for instance, be different because of that? It might have been interesting to see them make the new TCats with tails and how that might have changed things. How would chairs have looked?
Along these lines, here’s another interesting thing to look for: Make a fist and pound it into your other hand. Now, image how that would have worked if you have sharp claws at the end of your fingers? Will we see “fist fights” with TCats? Or will they fight more open handed?
In the trailer it shows Tygra close fisted punching toward the camera so I don’t think they’re overly worrying about little details like the claws digging in 
Maybe the claws retract a little when they close their fists. They are cats afterall right?

Most of the cats claws can retract, all except Cheetahs, and for that reason there is still a large debate if Cheetahs should be classified as Large Cats. Alright I’m done being a dork.
Anyways..I think the gold thing above Big daddy Claudis’s eyebrows is like a circlet denoting him as King. Because com’on we all know a crown is just dorky and dosnt work in battle. A simple gold band circlet? Rocking.
Also I like the lack of boots. Why the heck would they need closed toed boots? The open ones make alot more sense and look cooler IMO.
I’m inclined to agree. I think it also serves for jumping and climbing things
They said that they will be more cat-like in their movements. I think boots would make them too humanized. This way you never forget that they’re human cat hybrids…I like what I see so far. I don’t have a complaint yet
Claudis is bad ass but now that I heard him. I really wish he was voicing Lion-O though I really can’t complain about Will Freidile’s voice. It’s just nostalgia that makes me want that
I agree. I think it’s a circlet too. Or something similar to a torc (but on the head instead of neck.) I always thought the Crown in the original (after Lion-O completed his trials) looked really out of place on Lion-O.
What examples of cartoons have BONES done? I’m curious what silky smooth animation looks like. Is that like movie quality animation?

4°C Looks like it’s going to be pretty good. I think they loose too much detail when the characters get smaller on the screen tho.
I’m sure budget restrictions played in to that as well.

If you want smooth then hire Sunrise/Bandai Visual a.k.a. Studi Smooth by their fans. Just look at their work on the Gundam series(my favorite franchise) and you will see why. Aside from Capital ships, they still use animated Mecha not cgi and their frame rates are very high.

I dont know if this has been mentioned before but Cheetara is one of the priests that are bringing the sword to Lion-o,Claudus etc. I know its her becasuse it shows her bracelet in one shot and in another her distinctive red marks arround her eyes under the hood.
Im wondering if these priests/priestesses have the Gift, (as seen in the original series with just Cheetara) who then possibly give it to the sword which gives it the Sight beyond Sight ability.
That really might actually be her. In a recent Interview they say
“She’s actually one of the elite fighters of Thundera. [Part of] a group called the Clerics, under Jaga’s command. And they’re basically the secret service for the king”
