Sure, but you can’t say he wasn’t having fun. That dude was always laughing. 
a nice subtle hint that would have gone a long way would be if earlier in the season she had seen the flower have her mention it is her favorite flower. fast forward to the episode where it shows them as children and you see why that particular flower has such importance to her, and it would set up a closer bond between Cheetara and Tygra without directly showing it.
of course it is easy to point out things that should/could have been different after the fact, but they have to remember that children are a large audience here, and i doubt the Cheetara/Tygra hookup made much sense to a lot of kids
Cheetara, well I think I have lost all respect for her. I think the way she acted towards Lion-o was wrong. She lead him to believe there was something there other than teaching and guiding him to be better at his role. I say look at the facts even Tygra himself believed to have lost her to Lion-o by the way she acted towards him.
All in all she has put another wedge in between the two brothers.

Tygra was great and shut everybody’s mouths: he’s not a traitor, he’s able to admit his mistakes even as a kid (so he isn’t the mean little kid someones thought), he got to prove to be better than Lion-o (SoO and everything), bit him and then take the high route and save him, he didn’t leave the group and he got the girl!

Again, every cat got a chance to shine (maybe Cheetara the least, but she kicked some butts too).
The only thing I didn’t like was the Claw Shield growing a la Zodiac Knights (Saint Seiya).
See, this episode really seemed one sided. In the Astral Plane, while yes Mumm-Ra did manipulate their negative feelings, perhaps he didn’t have to even try since Tygra did admit to making the mistake of breaking the branch. Then Tygra challenges Lion-O with his own Sword of Omens, and admitted his frustration about the sword and Cheetara during the fight it just showed he was much more selfish than Lion-O.
And beating Lion-O and kicking him into the pit! come on… and Lion-O calling out for help, and telling Tygra of their family bond to help rattle Tygra’s senses. Okay Tygra’s actions may have gone to the extremes due to Mumm-Ra (or not…) and he did go and help his brother eventually. But afterwards, in his brooding moment, and being with Cheetara now he’ll be in a better mood…this is what it took to make Tygra (somewhat?) happy with his brother, defeating him in combat, and okay thanks to that flashback, solidifying his romance with Cheetara and yet again proving to Lion-O that he is better than him. Malarky…
Like I said earlier, I don’t think Mumm-Ra should have been in this episode. The Astral Plane itself was showing them the memories and making their desires a reality. Tygra gave the Astral Plane more than enough material without Mumm-Ra having to tamper.

I didn’t say he’d be happy with Lion-O. Getting everything out in the open is sometimes the best way to start to mend a relationship. As long as Lion-O isn’t too bitter I think they’ll be fine. Tygra will be happy with Cheetara and not as likely to cling to petty jealousy.
This episode was great and my favorite now. I also couldn’t resist and had to make a few demotivational posters from it.

I’m so happy Tygra got the girl. How odd, in the old series, I didn’t care for Tygra and in the new series he’s my favorite character.

Can it really be considered a betrayal if it was Cheetara’s own choice? It’s not like Tygra made something to make Lion-o look bad before her… there was no betrayal IMO. If anything, it was Cheetara’s betrayal for misleading Lion-o, but not even that can be considered a betrayal.

If mumm-ra wasn’t there it wouldn’t have escalated like it did. he was feeding tygra’s negative energy. similar to what he did to grune in old friends.

That summarizes my reaction perfectly in 6 words…though with more fangirlish squealing.
I can’t remember where I read it…but in an interview I think the creators/writers/powers-that-be clearly said that Lion-O is going to MISINTERPRET Cheetara’s actions towards him.
I really honestly saw her actions as more of a big sisterly thing. Like an affectionate motherly big sister if that makes any sense.
Okay, now every time I see Panthro punch somebody, I’m automatically gonna hear the Mortal Kombat “FATALITY” line in my head.
I suddenly have the hysterical image of Panthro’s arms floating around and randomly beating Grune in the head even though the Astral Plane is kinda gone now…
Okay, my personal reactions that I typed into my iPhone while I watched this (I may reiterate what I just said above)

It didn’t come out of nowhere. It can look like that, but it isn’t.
Inn the last scene, right before revealing her feelings to Tygra, Cheetara said she heard about what happened in the Astral Plane (maybe even the “you stole her” part?). Think of it: Cheetara has loved Tygra for a long time but, just like him, was too shy to say something. The idea/fear of losing him without saying a word could have been the trigger for her to finally tell him how she felt about him.
after about 10 minutes of nonstop laughter that makes her mother worry for her sanity
…I love you. XD
And if anything, Cheetara will help Tygra to transit by his anger and jealousy and resolve it.
This probably belongs more in the Tygra fan thread… but I think we got a huge reveal about what moves him… you have to earn it. And who is to say how hard he has worked to get where he has, perhaps hasn’t seen the same amount of effort from his brother, and since that’s such a core part of him, yeah he’s ticked off that Lion-O still seems to get what he wants.
I have feelings right now.
1. Mixed feeling
Grune. Caught in the Astral Plane. I’m torn between feelings of “Hahaha! For once, one of my theories was right, mwahahahaaaa!!!” and “Gruuuuuune! No, baby, no, please come baaaaaack! :(:(:(”. Is he really trapped in the Astral Plane, or did the Astral Plane implode and vanish when Lion-O took the Spirit Stone? I’m fully expecting him to show up again in one form or another, but I’m going to miss alive and normal Grune. His moment with Slythe there was so lovely.
Panthro losing his arms is not a mixed feeling, however, thats pure and refined “NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”. Also, Panthro is a lot darker than I expected. I honestly didn’t think he’d be able to finish Grune off.
2. Mixed feeling
Tygra/Cheetara being canon. One part of me is happy, because I shipped them in the OS. Another part is feeling kinda bleh about it since I don’t really enjoy romance in action adventure cartoons/animes anymore. Or that could just be a phase, I don’t know. In any case, I would have prefered if all the Thundercats stayed single for the duration of the show, but I can’t have everything I want.
And now I’m really wondering how Lion-O is going to handle his feelings of betrayal. Please be mature about it, Lion-O! I know you can do it!
3. Just disappoint
I’d kinda been hoping that each adult Thundercat would take care of a Stone of Power each and get awesome weapon powers that they could combine to make Mecha Lion-O, but it looks like Lion-O is keeping them all. Booo, disappoint…
4.
Blown away by epic brother vs brother swordfighting, only to break down into giggles as Tygra went all THIS IS SPARTA on Lion-O’s butt. Way to ruin the mood, show. Way to ruin the mood.
And then there’s this weird, nagging feeling I have that the show is going to change now, and I’m not sure I’m going to like it as much.
While 5 episodes feels a little too few before another break, I think I’m actually welcoming this break. It will give me a chance to redecorate my mind with all these new feelings before the show moves on.
I gotta say i did not expect any of this. To me this is almost as good as the premiere. The show is so different, you almost never know what’s gonna happen, that’s true cause i see people are and on other places are getting so upset about this. Why? Not sure, i got upset aswell when he lost his arms but hey.. I still like the show, getting him robot arms. What’s the hurt in that?

I thought this was quite a interesting and surprising episode.
I loved Mumm-ras transformation this time.
It really reminded me about his transformation in the OS which I found a lot more scary than his transformation in “Journey to the Tower of Omens”.
I’m a little bummed out about Panthro’s arms but **** happens that you can’t change. That’s pretty much how life is.:panthro:
Not that surprised about Cheetara and Tygra though. I read somewhere way back before the show that Cheetaras interest in Lion-o was not one of romantic kind.
If I would hazard a guess, I’d say that Grune stuck in the Astral Plane is to make room for new bad guys. I also think he’ll make a return in some way or another.
