It’s just confusing then as to why Anet would mention Tygra’s name on the betrayal issue. He should have just said the prophecy without naming names. It was Cheetara that made the decisive move with Tygra.
When Lion-o and Tygra were running out of the astral plane, they said it was collapsing without the stone, meaning the astral plane has been destroyed. That last shot of gune really, really looked like he was dissolving. It’s pretty clear Grune’s dead, killed by panthro.
Ah, ok. It’s not like he can feel her chest with her leaning into the shoulder armor, but I can see where this would be considered flirting on her part.
At one point in the series weren’t Tygra and Cheetara leaning against one another while they slept or was that Lion-O? If it was Tygra that must have been torture for them looking back at it.
Yea while she may not have meant any misleading, she did get in on his personal space. I don’t blame Lion-O for having false hope. Poor guy…
I agree, speaking as a girl, we don’t do things like that innocently. Actions like that express interest. I dare say she would never act that way towards Jaga. And I thought that too, how she didn’t seem to remember him before. Up until now she has shown Tygra annoyance or ignored him for the most part. To have been flirting with Lion-O all this time, expressing interest towards him, to suddenly flip like that? The only possible logical explanation I could come up with to explain that was to arouse Tygra’s interest if he saw her flirting with his brother and by playing hard-to-get. In which case, very cruel and immature of her to use Lion-O in that way.

I’m a girl too, and i thought that was the meanest thing. She should know better than that, unless CN/the writers were given an ultimatum to change it up or ose the show, i didn’t see how T/C could happen since they met when they were little and only spoke once or twice. I really thought Lion-o and Cheetara would get together since they seemed really interested in each other. And it looked like she might kiss him a few times. I’ve lost a lot of respect for her as a character with how she acted. She could have at least told Lion-o she wasn’t interested and waited for him to move on.

In the writers defense they had to add some scenes where it looked like Cheetara was interested in Lion-O to make the love triangle work and keep fans guessing. Looking at the Love Triangle thread I’d say they were successful even if they had to mislead us occasionally.

she was behind him because he had the sword infront of him. she was incouraging him and coaching him and some Teachers do get up in your personal space. have you seen someone teach bowling? same principle. they get close behind them because the “student” should be focusing ahead.
I don’t think that it’s clear that Grune is dead. He got pushed into the Astral plane. For all we know, Grune could reappear. Panthro’s arms could reappear. I can see Grune returning as a ghostly character similar to how he originally appeared in the OS when I think a couple of Bolkins released him from his prison. Perhaps we’ll get to see another epic battle between Grune and Jaga.
Something I’m not liking about this series so far - Jaga is not appearing to Lion-O in spirit form. That was a staple in the OS.

As Snarf tried to feed Panthro in the end, Panthro said he didn’t need a nursemaid. Snarf was called a nursemaid in the OS, thought I think it was Lion-O then who said he didn’t need a nursemaid. Cute reference.
Cheetara is hot. Every time she touches someone over the age of consent its gonna look hot.
If the clerics are as celibate as everyone thinks, then its possible she is not all that aware of her sensuality. Maybe her boobs are not all that sexual to her, and so she doesn’t see it as IM RUBBING MY KNOCKERS ON HIS BACK. She may not have given her position all that much thought.

Once again, everything she has done can be seen as supportive or romantic. Tons of people here didnt see anything she did as romantic. Tons of people thought she was just waiting to pounce.
The way she came up behind him was very provacative and we saw his reaction to that. He physically responded to her touch in a way that expressed his own, er, interest in her.

I don’t think they’re celibate because I don’t think Cheetara would have engaged Tygra at the end of this episode as she did if they practice celibacy, unless she’s going Anakin Skywalker on us and if so, watch out or she might just join Mumm-Ra and they’ll have to fight against her. :eek:
Cheetarah never said she had any romatic feelings for lion-o. She knows he is the new lord of the thundercats so she has to help him and encourage him. Saying I believe in you doesn’t mean she loves him in that way and she could love him too but not romatically. Someone used harry potter and hermione as an example and i think that’s the perfect annalogy. as for her beeing close to him those times and encouraging him, Lion-o can take it any way he wants and that isn’t her fault. And he never came out and said he was interested in her really either if i remember so it didn’t really give her the opportunity to turn him down.
