We learned nothing in the Astral Plane that gave any new revelation to Lion-O and Tygra, it only showed what I already knew about them both. Watching them get all ticked off with each other and fight each other was a huge waste of time.
Panthro losing his arms?! [FONT=Comic Sans MS][SIZE=4]WHAT THE HECK?!!![/SIZE][/FONT] At that point, I said to myself that I was ready to throw in the towel on this show and never tune in again. They’ve already taken his eye and given him a hideous hairdo, not to mention darkened his character too far from the OS Panthro. I don’t want to see a bionic ThunderCat, what a great way to ruin his character even further! :sneaky:
Then came the scene between Tygra and Cheetara which was the only redeeming quality in this episode, except for the part that I despise Cheetara for having mislead Lion-O. But at least Tygra for once wasn’t treated like dirt.
Maybe another extended break of episodes is good. Maybe by the time they come back with a new episode I’ll forget the reasons why I’m ready to throw in the towel on this series. :sneaky:

I still dont see it as a betrayal since cheetara and lion-o werent a couple and tygra didnt promise ot told lion-o he would stay away from her so they could b together. Poor tygra was so sad when he though she didnt cared about the flower but I guess afterall the flower did the trick hehe
I agree w/ mumm-ra transfromation bit and I never would’ve tought panthro would lose both arms, he such a bad ass. was cool seeing anet fight, not bad.

We learned that at times Tygra may act jealous towards Lion-O, but he’d never betray him. Tygra could have potentially left Lion-O there and found the Spirit Stone himself. Learning that Tygra isn’t as dark as Lion-O thinks was important.

I can see where you are upset with this one. I’m on the fence myself.
I liked this episode very much… It was a great way to end the season.
The biggest highlight for me was Mumm-ra’s transformation!! So much better than the ghetto purple smoke mess from “Journey to the Tower of Omens.”
The lowest point for me, I guess, would be Panthro losing his arms. :panthro: I’m not too happy about that but I’ll live with it!
Overall, great show… Can’t wait to see what happens next! 
I want to see Lion-O hook up with Pumyra and maybe Cheetara can get jealous of their hookup, then she dump Tygra lol #sweet
Great episode except the whole Cheetara and Tigra crap, I mean they only had one episode right before that showed any reason for them to get together, and she did lead Lion-o on wether she ment too or not. Yeah that was a much worst kind of betrayal then anything Tigra could have done besides Lion-o expected it to be Tigra to betray him not Cheetara.
I find it weird that they made Panthro loose his arms just for a realy weird toy idea fot this series.
She was giving some pretty strong signals at the beginning of Song of the Petalars. And she did give him a kiss last week.
Yeah, but I already knew that about his character, which is my point. I would say the one aspect to the whole Astral Plane sequence that I liked was that as Lion-O was dangling there, he stopped being angry and forgave his brother and sought to restore. A little confused why he couldn’t use his claw shield tricks to get himself out, never had a problem with that in the OS.
I will add that I did really like the little bit with Kat and the big gun, that was really cute. And I thought Snarf’s meditation stance was cute.
Panthro can now perform fatalities…great. Him losing his arms was a bummer. And if they introduce Pumyra in the next season, that will be most likely a dead giveaway. Then again, if they try to resurrect another love triangle with Bengali in the mix, gonna be so ticked about the show. Mumm-Ra was kinda of a bummer, too easily defeated…
Yeah this episode was pretty awesome. I think the betrayal could even be between Panthro and Grune. Panthro wasn’t supposed to “sacrifice” Grune I’d think. But not only did he let him go, he sacrificed his arms. Thats nuts. I liked the flashback two with the two of them going up against a giant Spider/Spidera?. Great episode, and lots of action. The twins are starting to actually be constructive with their parts in the battles which are getting cooler and cooler. I liked the HUGE mecha vehicle too, I wonder if we will get a vehicle of that somewhere down the road.
Why would she get jealous when she never liked Lion-O to begin with?

The Love Triangle is thankfully over. Although we still have to deal with the aftermath. Kudos to the creators for not dragging it out like certain manga/animes. looks at Naruto and Bleach

It is a betrayal only in Lion-O’s mind. Cheetara never felt that way about Lion-O. They were never in love. Lion-O only lusted over her. She was only platonic with him. He confused the signals from her and got hurt. It happens all the time. He’ll find someone else to crush on.
Tygra and Cheetara have a deep connection that Lion-O cannot be a part of.
And in The Sixth Sense, everyone acted like they had been interacting with or intentionally dismissing Bruce Willis’ character.
Also, I just get annoyed at the notion that having a significant other is a necessary component of being happy and successful. Sure, family and friends are great, but you can have those without having a romantic partner. Being shaped by that notion had negative effects on my adolescence, and I think beating kids over the head with it can’t be good for them.
Interesting comparison that really doesn’t make any sense to compare.
it’s called being misled by the writers so you don’t expect the outcome.
Decisions on the show aren’t based on the toyline, it is the other way around.
They were setting it up so we thought Tygra could potentially go bad. I certainly wasn’t convinced that Tygra was above such things.

I find it hard to believe Cheetara didn’t like Lion-O somewhat, due to she was always kissing and holding his hand. But then again, that’s the art of a woman =)
