OMG that was an episode!!! So much happened this time. Grune’s defeat was amazing, it was sad though that Panthro lost his arms. The plot twist at the end was interesting, I was pretty sure Mumm-Ra was behind Tygra’s “betrayal” in the Astral Realm, but the scene of Tygra and Cheetara kissing at the end showed the true betrayal that the elephant elder spoke of. I originally felt sorry for Tygra because of his feelings for Cheetara, but now I’m feeling sorry for Lion-O 
Oh well. Mumm-Ra was awesome in this episode too.
It really was! And we saw Mumm-ra without his red hood cape thing. He actually looked pretty good, much better then the toy.
Whaaaa?! Cheetara and Tygra? Well it has been concluded and the discussions were fun while they lasted. Poor Lion-O…
Thinking back on it, his transformation in this ep was reminiscent of Mon*Star’s transformation in Silverhawks.
Wow. Poor Lion-O. Now I feel like Cheetara has been leading Lion-O on then if she truly liked Tygra. I really feel the devolopers of the show really dropped the ball by not building up her side of things with Tygra at least a little. By just making it seem like she just likes Lion-O really made it seem to come out of nowhere I think.
I loved how Cheetara says she always loved Tygra because he showed kindness for her that day, though if he knew the significance of the flower I doubt, doubt she thinks he knew either. But still, it’s the show of kindness when she was going through a hard time that mattered.
And I guess this explains the robot arms Panthro. Though damn, this is not a kids show. Amputation? Bit too adult. I really thought those were gloves on the toy too, or I hoped. Ah well, here’s hoping the robo arms are more detailed in the show and not pure silver like on the toy.
This episode ranks among my favorite in the series so far. Every character had a great moment. It even managed to exceed my high expectations.
I loved how it looked like Tygra was going to be a real ass, but then he redeemed himself. I honestly thought Lion-O would give Tygra the Spirit Stone, but I guess he needs it for his collection. Hopefully Lion-O can recover from Cheetara choosing Tygra and they can start to mend their relationship.
Mumm-Ra wasn’t really needed in this episode, they could have told this story without him and not had him so easily defeated like that.
I’m not sure how I feel about Panthro sacrificing his arms to rid the world of Grune.
Great episode that provided a lot of great individual moments for the main cast, heroes & villains.
But wow, Mumm-Ra really took major hits in this one, huh? Grune is gone, The Thundercats convinced a typically pacifist race to join them in their fight, & Lion-O got the Spirit Stone. If I’m keeping score in the Stones of Power race, that’s Thundercats = 2-Mumm-Ra = Zilch-a-roonie.
This leads me to think that Mumm-Ra will start going across Third Earth to recruit new allies: Hmmmm, The Jackals, Monkeys, Vultures, & Rats perhaps? There you go!
Yeah. I just don’t know if i’ll like it the same now that they’ve done this.
Not really, even in real life sometimes people have feelings for one another for a long time yet are too scared to show it right up until the point that it’s admitted.
So now Panthro is going to become the furry Jax.
Yes! That’s what robo arm Panthro reminds me of! Now all he needs is army dog tags. Or should I say cat tags. lol, bad joke.
kiripes! Now the anticipation for the next season. How will Lion-O handle this? And how will Tygra and Lion-O be with each other with Cheetara’s presence. Tygra edges out Lion-O yet again.
I knew Tygra was going to get the girl. Its kind of the same thing with Harry Potter. Harry gets all the glory & attention, so its natural to throw Ron a bone & let him wind up with Hermoine.
I mean come on Lion-O. You got the Sword, you’re going to get all the Stones, you’re the Lord of the Thundercats, AND if the T-Cats succeed, you’re going to be like the biggest hero of all freakin’ time.
I’m not saying Lion-O shouldn’t have those things (I’ve already argued that he should), but can’t Tygra have this ONE thing, especially since he’s had the hots for Cheetara since he was like 12?!?! Come on dude!

MUCH better mumm-ra transformation. I kinda think the crew is taking some of our criticisms to heart and improving as they go.
kinda hate that Tygra actually DID break the log, but at least he immediately regretted it.
and now we know why Panthro’s new toy has cybernetic arms. I kinda like this. it means they won’t necessarily win every fight without a scratch to show for it.
I was kinda hoping mumm-ra would get the stone though. now the Thundercats have 2 to his 0.
interesting what Tygra said about it not choosing Lion-O. maybe each of the adult Thundercats will get their own stone.

Mumm-Ra guiding Tygra’s jealousy through his memory was pretty scary, if I say so myself, although Tygra is not as bad as I thought. Him coming to his senses and telling Lion-O how scared he was, and how Tygra admitted his error to Claudus reminds us that although Tygra gets jealous, he is still good.
Ahnet’s vision of their betrayal wasn’t so much based on their childhood memories, and their differences, but moreso how Cheetara chose Tygra because of his generosity, when she was waiting outside of Jaga’s Claricy. I did have a feeling she’d choose Tygra over Lion-O because, much like Tygra, she didn’t have a clan to call her family. It was Tygra’s compassion towards her that won her over.
I only hope that Lion-O can see that there’s a genuine connection between Cheetara and Tygra.
However, the only thing I didn’t like during this whole thing was Panthro sacrificing his arms, during his final battle with Grune. How much are you willing to bet that the cats are going to pay the Berbil village a visit to have the Ro-Bear Berbils construct mechanical arms for Panthro in the next episode?? I seriously doubt that they’ll be restored, magically.
Then the Elephants!! Who would’ve guessed that they could kick butt the way they did?!? Did you see how Ahnet bent Ssslythe’s gun the way he did! ::shock:: Never mess with the Elephants when they battle!!
She hasn’t been leading him on. She’s just been giving him some much-needed emotional support, and he (and we) misinterpreted her behavior. It’s happened to everyone.
Yeah, you could see him flying away in crow form.
I know! I was honestly hyperventilating in the beginning because of Cheetara’s choice. I am so glad she choose Tygra.
And it’s funny because I initially didn’t like Tygra in this show. Then the few scenes between him and Cheetara like him saving her from falling and the flashbacks, made me really like him and hope for this.
