They clearly make a POINT to show the hand touching! Easily can be shown from a distance but c’mon its like LOOK! she’s touching him again missed it she’ll do it again and wait yes again.

I know… but it’s more complex than that. Of course adopted children feel thankful and “blessed”, but also rejected (why didn’t their real parents want them? how do they fit in the new family?.. all those issues cross their minds).
I’m a psychologist and have seen it in first hand. One may think adopted kids are now part of teh family and that’s great, and in part it is that way, but there are many things to have in mind. It doesn’t mean foster parents aren’t good, because they are and make a great job, without them those kids could even die.
But kids don’t see it only that way, there are a lot of thoughts and feelings they don’t understand themselves. And in many times, those thoughts and feelings last till adulthood if they weren’t well-oriented and things weren’t explained to them properly. It’s not their fault to feel that way either.

That would have been fine if it was produced in Japan or somewhere else where it is normal for the bother and sister to be too close.
But this is made in the US.

Look, I was in Navy. I have been around the world. When women do what cheetara did to Lion-o, they are interested in that person. I have never read the signals wrong. Just like with my wife.
Another thing on the Sister and Brother issue, you have know each other your whole life, that is different than Lion-o just meeting cheetara. You have a different bond than the do.
Again, to be fair, Mumm-Ra was fueling the negative energy.
And I think that’s why I like Tygra so much, he believes in hard work and putting your whole self into a great responsibility, I see those same ideals in myself, its in fact not uncommon that we choose our favorites due to mirroring ideals. What I like about Lion-O is thinking outside of the box, finding a better way when the old way isn’t good enough because some will suffer, I love his sense of justice for those that are oppressed that what will make him a great king that Tygra will not only accept eventually but embrace.

Like you said before Stripes, laugh it off. I mean, that the series has garnered such a strong response from its audience is a good thing, right? That people are actually surprised by the turn of events, is a good thing right? Something unexpected, and breaking away from the mainstream.
But folks might want to watch the way you word things on the net. Because there are no other ‘cues’ for other posters to see, such as tone,inflection, facial expressions and body language. Personally I thought the comment about expressed affection without romantic intent a bit offensive.

if they want people to sympathize with tygra , there going to have to show flashbacks of their childhood and give us a real reason for tygras bitterness towards lion-o. right now he seems to be behaving far more entitled than lion-o.

Agreed though I’m careful to reread and correct anything that may be taken the wrong way it does happen and the best thing to do about it is ask for clarification and always assume a poster hadn’t meant any offense!
But he’s taking the high route either. Ok, maybe he whines and complains about it, but it’s not like he does anything to get the crown.
He might feel entitled, that’s ok, but that feeling is not taking him to actually betray Lion-o. There’s nothing wrong in thinking/feeling you’re better tha your brother/sister and you deserve what he/she has, but as long as you accept it (even if you resent him/her) it’s ok IMO.

I agree with you tygra rules, I just meant that seeing more of tygra and lion-o"s past would help viewers to understand why tygra feels the way he does.
Exactly. I love that Tygra has an ugly side and its called jealousy, that he will eventually grow out of, come on the tiger is only what 19? 20? He’s still kind of a kid trying on a grown up suit though I’m sure he’d protest to such. I hate shows where all the heroes are perfect, cardboard cut outs its BORING and leaves no room for any kind of growth that is meaningful, no journey. I love characters with some DEPTH, SECRETS and FLAWS, like real people. Perfect characters are predictable and as mindless as sheep if I wanted that I’d watch my goldfish swim around all day.

Exactly. Tygra is better than Lion-o at eveything right now, he thinks he deserves it and he should be king.
