13 episodes wasnt nearly enough and the whole Bell thing. I don’t see that as Tygra betyral either.

If your fighting over a girl who’s been flirting with you and she chose’s the other guy I’m sure I mad at her way worse then my own brother.

Tygra can feel however he wants, but it’s him not acting those feelings, being able to restrain them, what makes him a good character.

Like you said before Stripes, laugh it off. I mean, that the series has garnered such a strong response from its audience is a good thing, right? That people are actually surprised by the turn of events, is a good thing right? Something unexpected, and breaking away from the mainstream.

But folks might want to watch the way you word things on the net. Because there are no other ‘cues’ for other posters to see, such as tone,inflection, facial expressions and body language. Personally I thought the comment about expressed affection without romantic intent a bit offensive.

Not for me. If it keeps going all Tygra, I will drop it. I don’t have time to watch anime like I use too.

It kinda of ruin it for me when cheetara picked Tygra. Like I said, lot of us wanted cheetara and lion-o to be together in the 80s. We waited this long and we got this.

Please give a example for your last sentence.

That’s exactly the problem: we don’t know. Lion-o could have been cruel and mean to him for all we know. Or maybe Claudus’ wife rejected him and only took him in because those were Claudus’ orders.

I highly doubt Claudus would have any of that. And wouldn’t Tygra have mentioned this? What we’ve seen of Lion-o he was a sweet boy. We only saw one or two examples of Tygra being nice. And one of them was to his future girlfriend.

if they want people to sympathize with tygra , there going to have to show flashbacks of their childhood and give us a real reason for tygras bitterness towards lion-o. right now he seems to be behaving far more entitled than lion-o.

The sexism in this thread is amazing. Its disheartening that its seemingly acceptable to call a women out for such and such because some believe her actions are derived from her gender and thus should be judged by one standard.

We all know women cant be supportive of men without having an ulterior motive. This is why we lock them in our homes until the husbands return from war. Everything a woman does must be linked to her vagina and sex. The impulse that told her hand to touch Lion-O’s dint come from her brain, it came from her vagina. Duh.

The post in here are bashing, but hey I didn’t memorize the forum rules either. Why be mad at Tygra for being a better fighter? Last episode he confessed to spending all of his time practicing military stuff, Lion-O didnt. Its called realism.

Also I agree that Tygra’s has reasonable reasons for feeling the way he does. Most people would prefer to see someone come into a position of power because they earned it/ are suited for the job. Not birthright. We all know Lion-O is going to grow into his position so why complain when were only 13 episodes in out of 52 minimum?

WHOOAAAA! this debate is really going hectic from the last couple pages I read. OK, as a Lion-O supporter, I admit he has shown to be a jerk to varying degrees. Ramlak Rising, he went out of line possibly due to his coping with his father’s murder. Now Lion-O and Tygra, quite frankly are both jerks at this point to each other.

Hopefully after “Between Brothers” they get along better and understand one another. BUT as we all are showing a concern about the supposed continuation of the love triangle,(which is a ridiculous idea at this point) Lion-O or Tygra OR BOTH may still have a hard time giving her up and continue their feud.

They are losing focus on the more important matters, IF it goes that route.
Is it necessary for Lion-O to have a girlfriend JUST to have a girlfriend? NO it’s not. But, lets admit that since the premiere and with Cheetara around, we all got excited for Lion-O and Tygra, more so for each one’s favorite brother.

Returning to Lion-O, aside from his quest, not as a “consolation” or reward, but it would be nice for him to meet a girl he could relate to, and confide in during his turmoil. He may not show it, but the death of his father is burning inside him and he does not want to fail his Father, as shown in “Between Brothers” when that huge stone face of Claudus rose up underneath them. He is still irrational, may come off as “needy” but in “Song of the Petalars”, Emrick was a possible foreshadowing to how we will see Lion-O grow in this Journey.

With Cheetara around, there was no denying his attraction for her, can you blame him? And he thought he had a possibility for something genuinely more with her. But of course, that came crashing down with the recent Tygra-Cheetara romance, as seen by the look on his face. As much as many Lion-O supporters (myself included) wanted his pairing with Cheetara to have come through, it’s due to pointing out the obvious that has been largely argued on. Cheetara’s behavior with Lion-O since the first episode.

Not to come off as " kicking and screaming" and being sour about the result, but really why make all that build up with Lion-O, and for what? To further cause a rift between two brothers? Cheetara seemed flattered after knowing (I’m not referring to the recent Mumm-Ra speculation) exactly one of the major reasons why the brothers fought in the Astral Plane. Namely over her…

Well as I’ve shared before I was young, about 10, probably and I pushed my brother down a steep bank on a bike that could have killed him. I realized later how much I could have hurt him maybe even killed him when he ended up cut open to the bone and in need of stitches all because I was angry he got to go camping and to a carnival with my father and I didn’t. My brother and I are EXTREMELY close and I still did that. In fact as I said before children are not in the same control of their emotions as adults and do not think clearly in a fit of rage, I confessed to that and have told that story many times (still can’t believe I behaved that way I was usually a pretty soft spoken child) and no one had ever said I was evil or hated my brother. I was a child (doesn’t excuse it yeah I know) and didn’t really think before I did it as children often do.

Older brother. No, I wouldn’t leave him at the bottom of a well. We don’t have the same relationship that Tygra and Lion-O have. We had little to no reason to harm each other yet we did it all the time so Lion-O and Tygra fighting seems normal to me.

Tygra was scared after Lion-O fell. You can’t expect a child to act logically in a situation like that. All that matters is he realized he made a horrible mistake and ran to get help.

See I don’t I have a little sister and I have scars where we didnt get along but I never was so violent I hurt her mainly because she was a girl.

Now that you mention it… its true! you would think they would show some reaction to Grunes death, the one rsponsible for their fathers death and their whole race.

No guilt here, I don’t even remember why any of it happened. Once he hit 16 and got a job all of it just vanished since he wasn’t really around that much.
