That is how I feel. I always thought the show was about lion-o. All my frineds wanted cheetara and Lion-o together. Even my wife said that when her and her brother watched it.
The love for tygra reminds me of the love for sasuke.
I think I would have been ok if they showed that Tygra and Cheetara had history over time. The way cheetara stalk Lion-o and came on to him, I thought they were going to be together.

You’re right, but not completely IMO.
You can’t expect a 19/20 years old to be an example for a brother just 2 years younger. A person that age (19/20) has still a lot to grow him/herself.
And many times, the younger ones are more mature than the older ones. Yes, Lion-o was younger, but he was the one belonging to a real family while Tygra didn’t, I’m pretty sure that would hold anyone emotionally and make him/her less mature.
You know I was ready to be disappointed but mature about Cheetara picking Lion-O because I was pretty sure that was what was going to happen (I was pretty positive in fact). I am obviously a huge Tygra fan but I knew I wasn’t going to start foaming at the mouth about how much I hate Lion-O (and I definitely don’t hate him, I love the guy’s tenacity) when things in the show didn’t pan out the way I wanted for Tygra, I’m always careful to respect the characters and others view of them and I think some of us need to stop, breathe and remember debating is great fun but some people I’ve seen posting lately seem insanely furious to the point where I’m almost uncomfortable posting for fear of them turning their rage on me for loving Tygra, let’s all try to remember its just a cartoon.
