I watched the episode with my nephews who are around 8/9 years old, and when they saw the part with Tygra and Cheetara kissing in that pavilion-like space, and then the bell rang, they immediately assumed this meant the characters were married/getting married.
(Not sure they entirely followed the whole “betrayal vision” plot-line.)

Why would it harm the characters? It would only harm you, because you are a Tygra fan.

I think they butchered it. Maybe not for the Tygra fan boys and girls.
She made advances at him. No woman does that unless she doesn’t care or she is a player. She would have made her feelings clear from the begining. She could have let Lion-o know before she kissed Tygra.
She kissed him on the cheek. That is not brother sister. My wife would never done that to her brother and they are very close.
They had the one episode when Lion-o was Leo. The cat made the same advances to Lion-o and kissed him on the cheek. They were a couple after that.
That would be so funny if that was mumra posing as cheetara.

They also kissed before the ship crashed. And i’m getting vibes than Panthera wasn’t that into Leo, kind of like how Cheetara/Lion-o panned out. Maybe she was just “encouraging” him the whole time so they could escape Mumm-ra?

if lion-o left the group the show would probably focus on his journeys and adventures. the other cats would probably only appear near the end of the series or until lion-o rejoined them. maybe the series will do a fastforward to about 5 years and we’ll see a more mature and experienced lion-o.

I disagree. I don’t know any woman that comes across like that if they are not interested. I had many girls who were just friends and they never came up and kiss me unless they were drunk.

Sorry, I don’t like the new Tygra. To me he comes across as a arrogant jerk.
I liked the Tygra from the first show.

Lion-O comes across to me the same way. They’re both a bit of a jerk.
Ok I know more than two people who would never kiss their sibling, unless it was a very emotional reunion. When I got back from a 6 month deployment, there were siblings that kissed on the cheek. That was on a different level then what cheetara did.

Thank you for seeing it in another light I love the 80’s show and I’m tired of hearing it happened in the OS OMG then the new series must go the same verbatum. Screw that it didnt start that way it’s not going that way and it’s not going to end that way.
Seriously Tygra and the cats, I’ve read things on here like Lion-o should give him the sword and leave. Lion-o should give him the Crystal or they can share it. Give Pumyra to lion-o that will shut up his fans. If the show continues to be 1/2 segments I’m sure they’ll write some lame romance.
Tygra is older and suppose to set a example for his younger brother; which Lion-o has followed.
I was just asking, cause Cheetara was encouraging Lion-o and acting all intimate/saying she believed in him, and she seemed interested…i just don’t know if they’ll write Panthera like that to show a parallel/shock us with something again. The crew isn’t truthful all the time, and they’ve outright lied, so…

you mention soldiers coming back, but what about soldiers being deployed? because that could definitely be compared to Lion-O going into a strange portal where they don’t know for sure if he’ll get out alive imo.
I don’t think its the outcome (for all of us) so much as how this all happened with little build up.
