After watching the last few episodes, they put me on a downer. And I guess seeing the crap toys is the cherry on the cake!
The stones of power suck. While they do give length to the new series I’m so not into the transformer bits. Each stone seems to have the same power??? I just find them boring!

The “brothers” rivalry, also becoming tedious now. It’s not entertaining me now and is really making me hate tygra with a passion. Thanks for ruining tygra!!

Mummra has shown nothing new yet, just keeps firing energy blasts from his gob? On the plus, his transformation was great!!!
I’ll still watch the series to see what develops but man oh man. For me thundercats is ruined! (so far)
I’m loving the new show, I think they’ve done a great job of reinventing it for the kids of today. It’s still early days but I think it’s getting interesting and I’m gutted there was no dose of it last week.
I’m intrigued as to what young children of today think of it. My daughter at the age of 2 loves running round the house with the deluxe sword of omens and playing with the new toys but she’s a little bit too young to watch the show. Does anyone else have kids watching the show and are they enjoying it? I don’t watch cartoons normally so don’t know how it compares to Ben10 and the rest of the kids cartoons of today.
My sons 4 and i can tell he prefers the original series. Although he does watch and enjoy the New series…
He doesn’t really watch cartoons of today though as there isnt anything worth watching.. He watches Batman animated, Superman Animated, Gargoyles Mighty Max etc… Lol
I find the show a breath of fresh air when compared to the normal flow of crappy predictable cartoons that have been massed produced over the years lately. I can’t say much for the toys, being that I’m not too big into action figures and such, but I’m fine with that. And as for the kids of today, I was at work the other day and no one was coming in. My eleven year old nephew and nine year old niece were there, so I hooked my phone up to the stereo and found some episodes online with it. Both of them were mesmerized by the show, loving every moment of it. ^.^
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and it’s in my humble opinion that the relaunch of the show has been a success. I can’t wait to see the next season, nor can my niece and nephew.
Yep enjoying it thoroughly :D. Even though it has its faults but this show is certainly more fleshed out than the original. Characters are interesting, story for now seems to be building up to an epic scale (I hope this pays off), and the art is simply marvelous, not to mention the animation .
I like how we dont see Mumm-Ra too frequently, especially his ever-living form, or in the same regards the call of the Thundercats. Both of which hold more value when used sparingly. I’m interested in seeing more of the Sword’s powers, since in the OS it could pretty much do anything.
The show is still ‘new’ and if you watch alot of cartoons it takes them a little while to get into the swing of things. We are being introduced to the planet, the people who inhabit it, the characters, and the history of the world.
I’m not ‘in love’ with it, but I still am giving it a chance to mature and get into the swing of it.
I think the series as a whole has been pretty good. My main complaint is the lack of development between team members. Someone mentioned in the ratings thread that none of these people feel like family. That personal connection between members is important on a team show, and so I hope to see it better developed next season.
Yes there are things I’d tweak here and there for sure, but overall I think they have done a good job of modernising it for kids, while keeping the core elements. Apart from a couple of episodes, I’ve really enjoyed the first season. I’ll definately keep watching
I still love this new series. Season one kept my attention the whole way through and I always found myself anticipating (as I am now with the premiere of season 2) the next episode.
