Hey guys, I can see now how my words have really made an impact. This wasn’t really my intention. If you look at what I said, it doesn’t say anything more than what it means. The show remains in hiatus. Period. The reality is we are not currently working on the show. Which is what hiatus means. What is said between WB to CN or Bandai is between them. Until there is an official post or disclaimer from any of those people, the show has not been officially canceled. I don’t have the authority to make any such statement. Again, I can only say I’m on a different project at the moment, which is Beware the Batman. I did a few drawings on my deviant art site for fun for tcats fans to enjoy. I would feel terrible if fans never got any kinda notice that the show would end one way or another. I hope there is talks of continuing the series, I’d love to finish the story. Too bad i can’t see the actual message from the face book page. But I trust you Tygrastripes. Dan is such a great guy to his fans keeping us updated. I guess it’s understandable no one is working on it because it’s on hiatus ,so they are working on other projects so they can get some money. Hopefully Beware Batman is good.
I can confirm that this message is legitimate. The problem is that children will forget about the series if the “hiatus” lasts more than a year.
They didn’t receive any extraordinary toys or particularly exciting comics to keep them hooked either. From my point of view, I’m afraid it’s now or never.
Anyone else actually upset by this news? The hiatus thing is just getting old and I’m tired of sitting in limbo. At least we felt like we had a definite answer when we thought it was cancelled. At this point, it’s beyond ridiculous, and I’m tired of waiting for an answer.
im a fan of thundercats, but i have come terms with myself that the NS isn’t gonna comeback. we fans need to conclude the journey ourselves via fanfic, fan comics, or anything.

Well, at least it’s something. In a way, though, I think it’s worse. To me, I liken it to having a loved one in a coma; not knowing if they’re ever going to come out of it, and dreading the decision should it ever come to pull the plug.
But at least Dan’s got something to pay the bills for the time being. Personally, though, I’d much rather see him working on Tcats, instead of having to re-draw square gun barrels on Beware the Batman :p; a show that, from all indications, nobody really wants.
I agree with all things said; at this point it would be better if they just stopped going back and forth and stopped torturing the fans who are still holding on.
Hiatus means “we’ve put Thundercats on the shelf, maybe we will come back to it at some point in time” plain and simple. Could be 1 year, could 2 years, could be another 25 with how much of a commercial flop this incarnation of Thundercats was (hopefully not) due to all those involved and the poor choices they made.
I also agree that it would seem WB laid down the law on DN and he had to backtrack. He needs a job just like the rest of us.
And your theory would be the right one. And it’s my theory that (I might get some flack for saying this but in my current mood I just don’t care!!) all party’s are to blame for the show’s current status. ;__;
The hiatus thing is getting a bit ridiculous. I am still kinda confused. First Dan draws a Final Lion-o then tell us no one is working on it and it would take years to get it back on Tv if they start today. Now he saying it’s still on hiatus 0-o umm ok. I am kinda tired of my feelings going up and down. Still i am going to feel like it’s still going to be canceled so i won’t get my hopes up. But i still have fate in the show and really want it to return.
