You guys actually expected something different from CN:confused: That’s crazy! With their track record this is exactly to be expected.
, I remember way back when I was trying to watch Zoids & Transformers:Cybertron. They would change the time slot constantly & put them on at 5am. It was a total pain in the :mad:
I haven’t wasted my time with CN since those days.
I remember well before this new 2011 series started they were talking about a CG flick in 2007…that got scrapped. Now that the animated series is on hold, It would be the Purrfect time (get it lol) to start a live action film based on the 80’s series…It’s so obvious that either CN/WB were not happy with the recent series (that’s why we haven’t heard official cancellation yet, but maybe different plans for this franchise is in the works).
I see this franchise starting off like the 2007 Transformers movie to get brand out there to a new generation, then if successful a new series based on the movie will get made. Followed by new toys by Bandai (jkjk).
I wouldnt mind a movie if done well. I am a little worried that a live action may come off a bit corny, maybe cgi is the way to go? Whatever the case (movie or series) I really hope they dont let the franchise stay dormant for long.

I can find some confort on having someone who is/was part of the staff working on the show.
Little after the show ended with “What Lies Above p2” I thought it would only go on hiatus for a while (never cared much 'bout how long as long as it would come back) Then a couple of days ago I found out about the first message from Dan and thought it was the end of the series 
and it was like a hook to my gut! In conclution…

In that case, nothing, ever, gets canceled. I understand that this is the definition but it would only make sense in music bands, since they haven’t really decided not to ever perform together again.
In the case of brands and franchises such as cartoon shows, nothing ever gets canceled but goes rather in hiatus. He-Man is in hiatus, since there are talks about a reboot. Then, even Karate Kat should be in hiatus, since none ever completely excludes the unlikely possibility for a reboot.
So in my opinion, hiatus is just an excuse because they don’t want major disappointments or they just haven’t made up their minds. All I see is ties and unlike Mattel/Hasbro/Playmates, fanbases are totally ignored.

Oh and I agree. It IS nothing more than a cop out so the “big guys” don’t have to admit failure.
Also keep in mind that the NS is still airing internationally and they do not want those fans catching wind of the show’s demise for fear of them not buying the merchandise.
I personally have believed the show and toy line have been cancelled for quite some time (honestly it’s a perfect business model for how NOT to handle a new cartoon series and toy line). I don’t need anyone related to the show to come out and say anything official to believe this (just look at the facts), but it sucks to see so many other fans holding out hope because they keep throwing out the “Hiatus” word.
And yeah, going by how they use the term hiatus, even TigerSharks is in Hiatus.
sounds to me like he is on damage control for overstepping himself in the first place. he said more than he should have and has now been told to “clarify” his comments in a way that negates the original message
I think he really wanted people to know that the show really is cancelled, but CN wanted to cover it up so they don’t look like the bad guy (which we already know they are). If they actually came out and stated publicly every time they cancelled a show and why, they would be much more of a respected channel in my view, unless the reason was total bull**** (cough Teen Titans cough). And not to mention how loose the term “hiatus” is. You could say so many shows are on hiatus now, but that’s most likely not the case. Hiatus would mean they are willingly taking a break with plans to continue later. TV shows NEVER take this big of hiatus this early in the series. I’m really happy DN wants to keep faith in the series, but it’s pretty much gone for me, especially after the latest statement.
While it is uncommon, many well known shows (The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, Rescue Me, etc) have multi-year breaks between seasons. Is that the case here? Most likely not.
What was there reason that Teen Titans got cancelled?
CN “didn’t like the pitch” for the sixth season, so instead of the obvious choice of rewriting the story, they cancelled it.

Oh, well, at least it’s just a hiatus. Though it may be as long as a mirage in the Sahara Desert. At least it’s not cancelled.
Still feel wierd about it, anyway its showing on cntoo in the UK now and nearly every kids channel has a t cats bandai advert.
Also Tcats tyger flyer and claudus are in the top 4 on bandai’s toy sales on their site… 
Glad to hear they are getting some advertising and sales over there. Hopefully someone will take notice.
