Yeah I guess it’s too early to argue about a new show when this one needs to be done first! :rolleyes:

I actually think some of the preview/speculation ideas are so good that the episodes can be a little bit of a downer…I decided to stop reading it personally
Here’s an idea for the start of a next-gen show…(sorry if this one is a little lengthy) Have the real start of the show in one of the episodes of Thundercats. I would have it an episode where WilyKit & WilyKat find their mother. Maybe build the episode so that they are thinking about leaving the thundercats to be with their family again. And at some point in the episode either have a mistake by lion-O or just having him there while their mother dies. Making WilyKit hate Lion-O and blame him for everything turning him a bit more cold (kinda like robin from teen titans). Eventually causing him to have to leave the Thundercats just because he can’t be around Lion-O. A great scene I see is a confrontation between Lion-O and WilyKit with Pumyra and WilyKat in the room. An argument turns to WilyKit walking away with Lion-O yelling for him to stop and Pumyra saying “WilyKat he is your king”, and WilyKat replying with “he’s not my King” as he walks out the door. Lion-O then sayin to Pumyra “if this is what he needs, then let it be” and saying to Wilykit who would be standing there not knowing what to do "It’s fine,be with him"while nodding his head. Showing once again he is a sympathetic and understanding leader. Especially when it comes to losing a parent.
Then possibly a next episode have it center around Dobo in the dog city with Panthro. Starting the episode of with a epic battle scene where Panthro and Dobo are throwing each other threw walls and just a battle showing how tough they really are. Through out this have clips of WilyKit & Kat walking to dog city (this then answers where they left off to). Then them hearing the sounds of fighting and finding it after seeing the thundertank. As soon as WilyKit sees Panthro fighting he jumps into the fight trying to defend his friend but taking it to an extreme he has never has gone before. Only to find out they were only sparring together. Maybe an old enemy of Panthro and Dobo shows up and that is the main story but continue with a side story of the kids from the “Forever Bag” on a bit of a stealin spree all over dog city. WilyKit & Kat find them and try to get them to return all the stuff. They eventually end up stealing from Dobo and getting caught. Possibly have Panthro save Dobo in the episode and upon Dobo catching them and having WilyKit beg and plead that they arent thrown in the pit and that they can leave but have to remain with her as a pay back for Panthro. If they don’t and if Dobo hears that they are no longer with her they will be tracked down and immediately thrown in the pit. Sorry if that was a lot but this talk just had me thinkin but i think that sounds like a show i would definitely watch. there is a lot to work with from all angles.
I would be interested, but I rarely, if ever, get into spin-off shows. It has to be darn good to get me to watch.
I’m not 100% on board myself for a next-gen show right now. Especially when we still have the new show still going on and, as far as we know, will probably have another season (I’d like to be optimistic here). I think to speculate on such a thing right now is premature, IMO.
It did, however, remind me of some ideas Ocelli and I had for the fics in our universe based on the OS later down the line for storylines that involved our own “Next Generation” of Thundercat characters…
Lion-O and Ocelli have a son named, apporpriately enough, Claudis II. Like Lion-O when he was younger, he’s not exactly keen on being royalty and would rather be out and about with the common people, and as a teenager would rather be racing hover-chariots (sort of like podracing).
Panthro and Xendara have fraternal twins: Panthanis and Panthea…or just Thanis and Thea for short. Think of the characters Ruffnut and Tuffnut from How to Train Your Dragon for a general idea.
Cheetara and her Terran husband Stony have a son named Chetomas, or “Tommy.” As a mixed-race, much of his character deals with his struggle to find his identity as he isn’t fully Thunderian or human (much like Star Trek’s Spock).
Tygra and Felina also have two children: T’Garon and Tianne. T’Garon is adopted and can cast illusions when playing a musical instrument, while Tianne has inherited her mother’s mystical abilities. One other note is that since Tygra rescued T’Garon from a fire while a toddler, T’Garon has a lifelong phobia of it.
Naturally, WilyKat and Kit would be present, much older and acting as both guardians and mentors to them. Not sure about who our main antagonists would be in the story arcs. As I was thinking about it today, I thought perhaps a renegade band of Mutants made up of Jackalmen and Monkians (in our stoires, Plun-Darr has since become a productive member of the Interplanetary Partnership after the war alongside New Thundera, Avia and the Terran Commonwealth, helping to keep the peace and explore space). Either them or maybe a faction of Grune’s Marauders or the Luntak Pirate Cartel. We’ve got some ideas…
If it was, I would have been locked up years ago. 
Obviously, any child they would have would be a ‘lion’ since the child would be the heir but he/she could have coloring more similar to Pumyra.

That’s quite different. Cos in the real world we have ligers and tiglons, etc, but if they did have children on the show, they would be able to have lions and pumas and the occasional luma, I hope.
Don’t forget cheetigers. Lumas would be cool, especially if they looked like Lion-O with Pumyra’s coloring.
Still, if Lion-O, as king, introduces various forms of tech to New Thundera (that’s what Thundera will be when it rises from its rubble), it will still take the Cats a hellava long time to invent the appropriate tech to separate different Cats’ genes from mixed-species unions to create children of both breeds and not just hybrids.

Me too! But I’ve been out of school for a week and already forgot EVERYTHING!
Oh well, I’ll only be needing it cos in about 5 years, I’ll be providing solutions to disabled, old and/or injured people to get on with their daily lives in spite of their obstacles.

Don’t be. My musical knowledge, aka how to play certain instruments and read sheet music, is just as inferior. Other than that, I can sing a bit and have an ear for fine tunes.
I can play piano, guitar, bass, clarinet, and saxophone and sing but I can’t do science for the life of me. I love the learning part but I hate everything else about it.
So do I, I like learning it and I have no qualms about dissection, but I’m only learning Health Science, not Med.
