Hah, that’s me asking a question at 28 minutes in about the thunder kittens.
Ugh Seanlong has the most annoying voice ever.
But I’m glad to see a video of it and I thank him for recording. Good to hear all the little snippets of info.
Liked what I saw but I’d like to see more! lol The Thundercats call kinda gave me goosebumps and mummra was pretty scary and they didn’t seem to change him at all. I especially love the Thundercats horn fade away at the end, very reminiscent of the old show. Cant wait for this series to begin!
Wow Thanks! Charlie Sheen as Snarf, this is awesome lol
I would have thought they would have cast him as Tygra, since he does have “Tiger Blood” afterall…
I’m going to have to bleach that image out of my brain, it would ruin one of my fantasy lives!
Thanks for the link, much appreciated :).
oK Thundercats fans!, that was a very interesting as well as revealling interview with the producers and Larry Kenney. I don’t know from where to start, here are some key points to sum up:
-
Thundera will be destroyed, as it happened in the original, and the team will explore the farthest reaches of Third Earth.
-
Lion-o WILL age during the show! this corroborates my theory that the original concept art depicting Lion-o older is how the young cub is going to be at some point!!! i am very happy to hear about that.
-
The fantay sci-fi aspect will still be 50-50.
-
Berbils will be back and Snarf will be rather ‘taciturn’
but he will utter his characteristic ‘Snarf, Snarf’ :mischievous: -
The classic, stable Villains like Monkian, Jackalman will certainly be in, generally a darker approach.
-
Studio 4c was chosen among other Japanese studios as the best and most adequate for Thundercats.
-
the Anointment Trials will be included at the 2011 cartoon and the New Thundercats(Lynx-o, Bengali) as well!!
-
The story arc will unfurl in 52 episodes.
-
What a GREAT guy Larry Kenney is!!
:liono:thumbsup:
Forgive me if this question has already been addressed (I waded through a few threads on this, but not all of it):
Do we have any idea what time slot this show will be airing? I’m assuming if its 52 episodes in the first season that it will be a daily after school slot. Can anyone back up my assumption?
Actually i think it is going to be 24 episodes per Season, at least this is how the episodes in anime seasons are divided.
About the time, i can’t remember anyone mentioning anything. Isn’t it kind of early yet?
Its only got 26 episodes in the first season. They just have plans for the story for 52 which would be two seasons.
And since no official launch date has been given no time slot has been given either. Personally I’m hoping for Friday nights with Young Justice, Ben 10, and Generator Rex. It seems to me like it would fit in with those shows.
You forgot to mention Pumyra! lol.
Anyway here is a bit more info on the show:

That’s right.
The expansion to more Seasons and Episodes will be judged upon the show’s success and approval by the fans. This is how it normally happens.
Thanks man!! i just wasn’t so sure if the guy asking, mentioned her or not!!
Nice, that clears up some things for me. And what about us “ThunderMoms”?
You Got it! Based on the interview Mr. Jelenic said that basically there are only 3 ThunderCats left after the destruction of Kingdom Thundera, What will happen to Claudus and Jaga… will they be imprisoned by Grune or Mumm-ra??
I have a feeling that Claudus will be killed, since Lion-O will be appointed the leader of the Cats. It’s possible that Jaga may survive, thus he can stay by his (Lion-O’s) side as he grows instead of being a spirit appearing now and then: which would be better, in my opinion.
It would be a shame though, to have Claudus killed, that would mean farewell for Larry. But it would at least give some motivation for Lion-O to exact revenge on Mumm-Ra, if he’s the one who kills him.
Regardless of who lives or dies, I just want death to be part of the show, characters should be vulnerable and Mumm-Ra should be able to kill. It gets irritating to take a villain seriously when they can’t even dispose of another character.
I’m assuming they will die as they did in the original series.
2002 MOTU had 26 episodes each season, each one divided in two parts of 13 eps each. So maybe they do the same for the TCs.
Actually only the first season had 26 eps. The second season only had 13.
Because it was cancelled, but it was planned to have 13 more. And then a 3rd season with the same structure.
