Every time I watch the episode “Dimension Doom” I have more questions about this guy:
He’s a lot more powerful than the Thundercats, so why don’t they go to the Sphinx and ask him to release him so he can help them fight Mumm-ra?
Why does Mumm-ra even want his helmet? In the very next episode (Queen of 8 Legs) we see that he can hypnotize people without it. So why bother?
Isn’t hypnosis quite an evil power for a good guy to have?
Because in a battle even Lion O couldn’t bring himself to say the crappest name in TC history without being mocked by everyone else.
Because MUMM RA WANTS EVERYTHING!!! He doesn’t do sharing.
Only in the rohypnol sense!
The name “Wizz-Ra” just sounds like he’d be the offspring of Mumm-Ra and Wizzbit!
I never really liked this episode that much, mostly because I really disliked those eps in which, in order to highlight one specific TC power/ability/development/growth/etc, they make the others look weak/silly/easy-to-get-caught/etc.
Well, the plot-holes in this episode are canyon-sized, but I love it anyway! Been a fan of it since I first saw it, 23 years ago 
You mean how Wizz-ra beat them so easily? I thought that was more about showing how powerful he was, rather than how weak they were.
In part yes. But what I really mean is that the whope ep point, for me, was to show Cheetara’s fear and how she overcame them, and for that the others were beaten so easily. I know you have a point, and that the time was short and all that, but still.
There’s a difference, in that the effects of the helmet were unshakeable until Wizz-Ra put it back on, whereas in Queen Of Eight Legs (and arguably The Mumm-Ra Berbil and Dream Master), the spell was beaten by outside influences.
Ego- They were both trying to “save the damsel in distress” no one was going to ask for anymore help.
Mumm-ra’s motto…The more power the better (duh, LOL) !!
“With great power comes great responsibility” only a good guy could be trusted with that.

The scene in her bedroom? I love that scene. Miles more romantic than that ridiculous shove in “Sixth Sense”. :rolleyes:
That’s the one! I wonder why Cheetara expected to see the guy again if he was trapped for 1,000 years (approximate; I don’t really remember).
I tink it was every 700 or 7000 years, not sure, but I think there was a 7 on it.
For the record, Queeg, it was 7000 (seven thousand).
Something tells me that Cheetara wouldn’t have seen the dawn of that seven thousandth year… she’ll have to make the trip in the suspension capsule! 
Even though the capsules slow down the ageing process considerably, some ageing does take place. Jaga said that even in suspension, he wouldn’t live long enough to reach Third Earth with them.
On the other hand, the Geyser of Life . . .
She could also just try running into the mirror after him. But that might hurt.
Or she could have asked him to take her with him . . .
