I thought I would point out that the question of this thread is asking if Lion-O will find love by the end of the series. It is not asking if he will find happiness by the end of the series. Happiness is an emotion that comes and goes as easily as anger or sadness. It is never a result of an external source but an internal choice of how to respond to any given situation. So, to imply that Kat can be happy and content with his sister is as moot as saying Lion-O can be happy and content being either single or in a relationship. For starters, happiness and contentment are two very different things. You can be content and sad as well, though I might argue that if you’re sad you’re more likely complacent than content. Kat isn’t always going to be happy with his sister, he clearly wasn’t in the episode where Kit expressed joy about seeing the elephants again. And Panthro isn’t always happy with his tank. I don’t know of anyone who is ever always happy with technology, I have moments where my computer is acting up and I would love for nothing more than to have an Office Space moment with it.
So for the record, my question of him finding love was not to imply him also finding happiness, especially since happiness is a fleeting emotion. I would like to see Lion-O find peace and contentment on his own without the false belief that someone must come into his life for him to find that. I know people who believe that, it’s why I see so many of my single friends being very discontented and continually searching for that special someone to fall in love with and marry to rescue them from their singleness. And then I see so many married people who can’t understand why they aren’t happy and start looking for something to make them happy.
I think happiness is overrated. Joy is better and comes with peace and contentment.
unless im mistaken, this isnt a romance anime where all the characters need to hook up as a major part of the story
i want to see Lion-O evolve into a king worthy of the title and the Sword. i really dont care about anything other than that where he is concerned. if a stable love interest is necessary for that goal, then so be it (as long as it isnt more of his ridiculous competition nonsense), but i think that should be secondary to him learning and growing
I already stated my opinion on Lion-O finding love by the end of the series earlier in the thread. I don’t care. I was replying to Classiccowboy’s comment about how he thought Lion-O needed a love interest so he’d have a friend, but Kat and Kit are okay because they have each other, and Panthro is okay because he has the tank, and when I pointed out that Lion-O is not alone either because he’s got Snarf, they responded as if Snarf didn’t count. I think you may have missed this?
Now I’ll leave, and you can continue to talk about Lion-O finding love.

Dude’s going to have ladies throwing themselves at him when its all said and done. He’ll have no trouble finding himself some sweet love.
also being King will require him producing an heir. sorta need a love intrest for that, and I’d rather see someone matter over some random femcat.
In some past cultures and kingdoms if the ruler was unable to marry or produce an heir, he was booted from the throne and the next in line was given a chance to try to keep the family line going…
Actually, I thought it was that the next in line or that person’s heir would inherit the throne. So Lion-O would remain king but if he never had an heir, it would go to Tygra’s kid or if the kid isn’t old enough, Tygra himself until the kid is old enough. Of course Lion-O could always appoint someone different to be his heir if he wants.
