AWESOME!!! Finally some hi-res art and a nice tidbit about the extra~~ Only complaint is what’s with not giving the release date! USUALLY they announce the release date with the press release do they not?> But then again the press release usually gives the same lie about 5.1 surround sound over and over so can we really trust it anyway. Ahh well it will be great to finally complete the set!!

Chris here…

I have to say, this is the best bit of news I’ve had today! The thought that by the end of this year I will have all 130 episodes on DVD, in broadcast quality, is just amazing!

Whilst I agree that it does rather get lost in that press release, if you look at the news posted above, in the first line of the second paragraph you’ll see the release date listed as being November 28th. So, earlier than we expected, even in time for my Mum & Dad to order the set for me for Christmas! (We live in the UK!)

Take care…

LOL!!! How the HECK did I miss that? Must be cuz I just got up like 10 minutes before I read that/// ahhh well gotta love it!
Anyway That ROCKS I just Can’t wait!!!

Chris here…

No worries, I’m just glad to know it’s not just me that things like that happen to! I share your sentiments completely, November can’t come fast enough for this ThunderFan!!

Take care…

:faint:

PERFECT! I’m off that entire week! In Sept, I’ll have He-Man S2V2; Voltron Collection 1 and The Star Wars Trilogy UNALTERED to pick up and in November, I’ll have She-Ra S1V1 AND Thundercats S2V2! I can now ditch my last cruddy quality VHS tapes!:pumyraveryhappy:

I’m ready to see Return to NEW ThunDERa; Well of Doubt; The Mossland Monster and The Key of ThunDERa. I’m ready to complete my Thundercats collection.

I was quite excited to find out about the release, as well! It is a great thing to know that it will be out in November… I just wonder about the special feature… will it be good? Ah, well. I guess we’ll find out. I can’t wait to finally complete the collection! It will be good.:bengali:

I’m intrigued to know as well as that description of it is very vague  I did try to get more tidbits of information a while back but those in the know are not allowed to say.

My guess is, it sounds like some kind of adventure game. It doesn’t sound like an actual new episode as it hints that you only hear Lion-o’s voice, so I’m assuming you play as Lion-o.

Thanks for the heads up neisan18

I’ve updated the front page with this news, but I’ve purposely left off the synopsis text

Howdy

Can’t wait for this. Finally all 130 eps on DVD

Chris M

My sentiments exactly! That’s my main thing, just give me the episodes!!

I find the news about Larry Kenney voicing the special feature interesting, it sounds like something they’ve put some effort into, I’m guessing it’ll be an interactive game thingy, which is cool by me

Howdy

Woah woah woah, lets no exaggerate till we see it

True! Perhaps I’m getting my hopes up and it might just end up being stills from the cartoon with some questions…

Actually maybe it will!

I just got He-Man S2V2, OZ (the complete set) and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 5. Now I am waiting for Voltron Volume 1 and 2, The Star Wars Trilogy, She-Ra S1V1, Dungeons & Dragons, and Different World Season 2… All of these DVD release will be released before the Thundercats S2V2 and it will make the wait that much easier.

Like I said in another post, I hope WBV adds a pamphlet to the final DVD somewhat similar to the ones found in the He-Man DVDs, but this one would be complete since the last Thundercat DVDs never had one to begin with.

Last, as much as I have hated the quality of the Tundercats DVDs and lack of interesting bonuses (other than the one from S1V2), I can’t complain too much, especially when the Ninja Turtles are being released in volumes containing about 12 episodes each rather than as half-seasons like He-Man and Thundercats.

Please someone answer this. Whatever happened to Galtar and the Golden Lance by Hanna Barbara? I loved that show and want it on DVD as well as the Smurfs and Widget. Anyone know?

Chris here…

Like I said when responding to your other thread, my suggestion here would be that you start a thread about this on our General Discussion forum, as that’s the appropriate place here for discussion of non-ThunderCats related topics. Hopefully someone there might have some insight for you about one of those series!

Take care…

only 1 month to go

one month until the Release of S2V2!!! Let’s start getting excited again!
