Wasn’t sure where to post this, but I figured this was the best place. Just wondering, anyone planning on going to this year’s New York Comic Con?
I went last year with a good friend, and it was awesome! And we’re planning on going again this year. Initially it was just going to be me and him, along with a couple other of his friends he’s bringing along. But Ocelli’s now expressed interest in going as well. The panels and events haven’t been announced yet, but I’m 90% sure there’s going to be something Thundercats-related there. But even if there isn’t, there’s still plenty of cool stuff to see.
If there are others here who live in the surrounding area that are going, maybe we can all meet up somewhere and make it a thing. Let me know!

Unfortunately, I didn’t see any exclusive figures at NYCC; the only Thundercats related things I saw were a couple of tees and a souvenir tote bag. :mad:

My hubby was doing business with a friend of ours in NJ last week and they hit the New York Comic Con over the weekend. He brought me back a Jem poster that was pretty cool. He said he didn’t see any Thundercats stuff there to speak of, though.
Yeah. Unfortunately it was just a display of the classic toys. Nothing new. There is however a comic being published by Hasbro called “Unit-E” which features Jem along with other Hasbro poperties and acquisitions like Battleship: Galaxies, Stretch Armstrong and M.A.S.K. So it looks like they plan on doing something with it. The booth girl we talked to agreed with us that it was odd that with artists like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry so popular, it would make perfect sense for Jem to make a comeback now (especially considering both artists themselves seem to have been inspired by Jem’s look to varying degrees).
