I’m always thinking about this and can never really come to a conclusion, so I’m curious as to what other fans think. If you had the choice to pick one Thundercats item to add to your collection and be your holy grail which one would it be and why.
The Mumm-Ra/Ravage and Lion-O with Snarf is now number 1 on my radar. A set just went out on ebay starting at a thousand. I really wish the Lion-O was Orange but I still like it with Snarf. I’ve haggled with the same seller about his Stinger that he started at 1500 that’s now down to 475 (I offered 400 which is more than I ended up paying elsewhere…) but I’ve all but decided to bid on those, price be damned! If I can’t get that set I’ll continue pursuing an 8 back Orange Lion-O which is my REAL Holy Grail. If anyone has one of these just hanging around… :0)
P.S. Had to check for the sticker on my Ben-Gali but I have FIVE of these listed in the poll!!! I’m trying to get a boxed sword as well, waiting for the right mix of condition and price to show up.
I had to say Cat’s Lair.
I completely and totally love the art on the LJN Thundercats toy boxes and the Cat’s Lair box has the largest sample. LJN really went a cut above on quality (except for the Thundertank treads) for their products and packaging. I think they even beat out Hasbro toys of the 80’s for the asthetic appeal of the artwork represented on the toys.
Frankly I don’t know why LJN is not still making toys today.
You forgot the Tounge A Saurus and the more recent Laser Saber finds but I had to go with the Cats LAir. Like Original said the box art is just to awesome.

The Sword is like, the whole point of ThunderCats ~ the reason for all their fights, the whole point of the show, the source of their power, their insignia - their Holy Grail

To update…I got the Lion-O with Snarf and Mumm-Ra with Ravage that was on ebay for 700, and they are displayed in my collection now. So 6 out of 7 :0)
