Exactly. Season breaks are completely different than mid-season breaks.
Also I’ve already watched the episodes probably a dozen times each. So that’s not gonna help much.

The transition between Airbender Seasons 2 & 3 was a really bad time. This is nothing compared to that wait.
How? Just pointing out that there’s no need to tie yourself up in a knot of wait.
And the “XP” is indication that my tone was more of a sarcastic jokey type than condescending.

Lol. It happens. New forms of “internet slang” pop up everyday so we all find ourselves in that place at times.
I’m actually glad you mentioned this though, because I had the feeling my POV of how one may behave online fairly is different from some of the people here. I’ve been in a ton of fandoms, and it’s really strange adjusting into a community whose members seem rather new to the whole thing.
So my apologies to all I guess. It really isn’t my intention to disrespect anyone.
I do think they picked a bad spot to interrupt the season, what with The Drifter being such a great episode and all, but it’s not that bad. I haven’t had any time to re-watch the first 8 episodes back to back, but I hope to soon. I’m thinking of putting them on my iPod so I can watch them at work.

Was it? I didn’t think so we all saw that Aang survived his life threatening wound from Azula and the earth kindom fell but that was just more of a bad ending for the good guys in that season. All the major plotpoints for that season were resolved fairly well I think.
- Aang found his earth bending teach and learned earth bending
- Aang and his friends went to the earth kingdom for allies to help them invade the fire kingdom while at the same time were trying to find Appa.
- Aang went to train to control the avatar state.
The ending of the season ended on a badnote did set up a bit of a cliffhanger for the 3rd season but that was more setup to set the tone of the 3rd season. The only cliffhangers were if Aang would survive his wound (of course he would) and what would the good guys do next.
This cutoff for the thundercats show pretty much happened right in the beginning of the show’s run practically and after they resolved one plot point and were in the beginning of the next.
I was extremely satisfied with the finale to Avatar season 2. Its still to this day one of my favorite episodes in the show.
I hate this break too. But you should see what nick is doing to Power Rangers Samurai. It’s been what a 3 month? break and it looks like there only going to show 5 new episodes for the rest of the year. And go for something like 2 years for this series. I mean if there going to stretch it out that damn much at least give more episodes you know? I think Power Rangers per season lately has only been what 32 episodes a season. I’m pretty sure that when power rangers first started here in the usa way way back in the 90’s it was around 50-60 episodes for one season even.
I think Voltron Force is on a break as well.
There were 60 episodes in the first season of MMPR. 
Voltron Force I just couldn’t stick with. I tried… but it just doesn’t seem to have anything which keeps me watching. I do like that now any of the Lions can form the body though.
Actually, I didn’t even notice those 2 letters. If I were to guess what they meant, I would guess an emoticon whose eyes are x’d out with it’s tongue sticking out? But I glanced right over that.
Before coming here, I hadn’t really been on message boards in about 5 years. Prior to that, I’d probably been on them for about 7 years, even owned my own board a time or two when I had various web sites as a hobby. I discovered Airbender when the movie came out, I had never heard about the cartoon. I rather enjoyed the movie but saw it got poor reviews and decided to get the cartoons on DVD since I thought they might never make another movie. Glad I did, one of the best cartoons I’ve seen. Fortunately, I didn’t have to wait between seasons.
I agree. Although I liked the season 3 finale even more. 
I think they’re just taking a quick break. Should start back up sometime this October hopefully.

So the date for new episodes to start is October 28th. Still awhile away though, also wish I got more fridays off so I don’t have to watch it online most of the time.
They probably just have some animation to finish. On the bright side, other people get to catch up on any plot they missed.
VCR? DVR? I think DVR’s record. I’m not really sure what a DVR is actually. :eek:
I read that the break is completely done by Cartoon Network and had nothing to do with the people making the cartoon. That’s what I read at least. Not sure if it’s true or not.
The crew said was that it’s just how CN schedules it’s shows.
And a DVR is digital video recorder. Kinda like a digital vcr I think, only you don’t need a tape and I believe you have to pay some kinda subscription fee or something to use them.
