Here’s hoping that Boomerrang will do another marathon of OS episodes.

I’m new to this forum, but am a fan of many 80’s animated series. I came here searching for news about new episodes, and it seems not much is known at this time. I’m going to venture a guess, that when CN current shows such as SW:TCW, Ben 10, Gen Rex etc… all end their seasons in the Spring we will get new Thundercats episodes. I’m hoping these will air along with Green Lantern & Young Justice to make a 90 minute block of pure greatness!
I’m really disappointed with CN programming at this point. I’m sick of these sporadic air times and non-committal premieres.
Sigh. Tcats is not on the schedule for February. Not all that surprising. If it was coming back next month, then surely we would have seen some promotional stuff.

Young Justice was moved to 10:30 Saturday morning, and I’m really hoping Thundercat’s airs after it. That’s assuming it has a time slot change, which looks inevitable. I’m pretty sure YJ will get the better time slot, and as far as I’m concerned anything before 10 would suck. I mean, if you ask me 10:30 sucks too. Do little kids wake up that early on Saturdays anymore ?
What if TC is moved to like, 9:30? Oh man.
Part of me feels like they may be anticipating the new Avatar show, Legend of Korra. I always thought Friday afternoons were the best time slots, and so I would bet money that Korra would air on a Friday. Probably between 6-8:30. They might want to avoid fighting for viewers.
Fridays definitely aren’t the best time slots rating wise (though I’ve always loved shows that came on Fridays). But I don’t think they’re necessarily fearing Avatar. That show isn’t coming out quite yet and they’re moving more than one show to Saturday. We got Ben 10, Green Lantern, and Young Justice so far (though oddly Generator Rex is staying on Fridays).
Personally I’m kinda glad all these shows are going to Saturday morning. I have missed Good Saturday morning cartoons SO much you wouldn’t believe it. I’m tired of every single channel only playing reruns on Saturday mornings. Hopefully they’ll all get awesome ratings and make other channels realize it’s good to start airing new Saturday morning cartoons again.
And yes if it’s a show they love kids will get up that early to watch. I remember making sure I would get up at 7am and sometimes even 6am for Saturday morning shows when I was a kid.
Of course as soon as they were over I’d pass right back out! 
I miss those Saturday mornings too! It was like a tradition. I just wonder if kids today will find it worth their time. Do they prefer an hour or two more of sleep, or a block of quality cartoons? Some of the older ones know its only a matter of time before they find it online anyways.
I can definitely remember being a grown man but STILL getting up at 6AM on Saturdays, to catch Transformers: Beast Wars. I too, usually went right back to sleep though.:rolleyes:
Yeah… back in the day. I used to record my Sat AM cartoons and watch em later in the weekend. And when we went back to school that’s all anyone would talk about

So, seriously, any news about the date? January is almost gone.
LOL, I remember getting up at 6am and watching until after noon. With the DVR, kids can record what they want and watch at their own convenience.
Blasted Kids dont know how good they got it these days. NOt like when we had learn how to set the time on the VCR. JK:p I used to record more than one show at a time I just had to use two different VCRs in two different rooms. Boy did that make mom unhappy.

Yes, you can record two shows with a DVR and set it up to only record new episodes.
Darn still no news about when the new episodes are going to air.
Dang that kid sounded like he was going to have a heart attack or at least pop a blood vessel.
