Is this a variant or a mistake or what. Its not an 8 back but it has a loose AAA battery in it. Do you think it was put there post production. I cant think of how it could be though the slit in the bottom would rip from the card if a battery was stuffed in there.
It says it has a slight crack by the ring but from the pics it doesnt seem like a battery would be able to go in there

Its very much possible that it was placed post production but then again it could be possible that it was placed by mistake. I would have to look at the battery to compare it to the ones packaged in the 8 backs. If it looks to be old it probably is. It’s tough to tell and since the bubble is opened in parts its possible that it was placed post production by someone who was trying to be nice by placing a free battery inside.
I reckon someone slipped it in to be nice like MannyC says, or to try and pass it off as something rare. I’m 90% sure that no series 2 or 3 Lion-O and Mumm-Ra’s came with a free battery (well not offcially packaged ones by LJN, Rainbow Toys etc…)
