I’m OK with how easilly they were defeated. The other point you bring up, the strange fascination some on this forum have with cartoon romances and shirtless characters, disturbs me too.

Oh, I don’t find it disturbing that these are Cat-people we’re talking about. It’s the fact that they’re children’s cartoon characters, that disturbs me. And just so I’m clear…when I say disturbed, I DON’T mean disgusted, just amazed, amused and confused. 
I think she means the “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus” books, where they point out the differences between both sexes.
Simply put: women = Venus= liking the romance; men = Mars = liking the battle action.
I would just like some plot, pacing and some quiet, character building moments, so label me Mercury, the writer’s planet

Fennris, Fennris, Fennis…the shirtless Tygra thing is just a bunch of us chicks having fun. No emotional or dramatic ties; no attempts to analyze interviews, comments and episodes in order to calculate the possibilities of seeing Tygra shirtless; no foaming at the mouth and shaking the fist over whether a shirtless Tygra would be better than a shirtless Lion-o. It’s all in good fun.

Hey I totally laughed Ruthie. You know Fennris compared to most “strange” things other things folks are into this one is pretty harmless and even normal now (I totally think Tygra is quite a handsome character, he’s right up there with Flynn Rider and Prince Naveen:D). I don’t think noticing those qualities in a cartoon character is really any different than completely falling in love with a gorgeous piece of weaponry (which I collect) or a breathtaking painting, it’s all art to be admired and if it evokes emotion response of any kind the artist has done what they intended. I’m surprised most people even bat an eyelash at it nowadays when there are truely confusing and downright disturbing habits out there more worth the questioning… I’m not likely to quit noticing nor commenting on beautiful cartoon characters anymore than I am going to stop painting:thumbsup:.

I was thinking about all this excitement over which old character we would like to see re-imagined. But, I would also be disappointed is there weren’t plenty of new ideas. I want to see something I’ve never seen before, something as ridiculous Berbils were and still are.

I would be disappointed if we saw too many more episodes in which the bad guys just run off at the end. I’m rewatching S1 and that happens ALOT!
