Based on what we’ve seen in season 1, what do you want to see happen in the future that if you do not see, you will be very disappointed?
For me…
If I don’t see a plot line for Wilykat in which he loses his greed, I will be very disappointed. He’s such a greedy kid and we know he is by his response to Kit when they were heading back to the Elephants village, he was mad at Kit for wanting to stay there and reminded her of their mission to find ElDara and become rich. I don’t want it slid under the rug like I feel they’ve done with potentials for developing Tygra’s character in season 1, I want to see Kat get the focus for an episode in which he lets go of the greed to value a justice, truth, honor, and loyalty more.
If I don’t ever find out Tygra’s background and how he came to be adopted, I will be extremely disappointed.
If I don’t ever find out what happened to Lion-O’s mother, I will be extremely disappointed.
I think what would disappoint me is if they just sweep the love triangle under the rug after one kiss. Say what you want, Lion O was developing some real feelings for Cheetara, maybe even falling for her. That can’t realistically be just wiped off. If they just play it for one ep then have Lion O be all chummy chummy with Tygra and Cheetara I’d tempted to just be done with the show…
I mean really, if you really, really started falling for a guy/girl, then found him/her passionately kissing your brother/sister. How would YOU take that? One day wouldn’t heal that wound I tell ya… And even after that, both relationships (Lion O Tygra and Lion O Cheetara) would have a scar that would prevent it from ever being exactly the same. (ain’t it our luck Lion O and Tygra seem to patch up and this crap happens…:eek:)
also, we’ve seen the hoverboards with toys, I wanna see the Thunderkittens air surfin’ dang it!
I think that, although good, the series have been disappointing when it comes to other characters’ (besides lion-o development), so what I’d like to see is:
Lion-o
What happened to his mother? How did the Sword choose him?
Tygra
How did he beciome adopted? At what age? What happened to his biological parents? How is he mourning Claudus’ death? How does he feel about Grune now? (we cana ssume he feels bad, but I want an insight on that).
I want him to develop his mind powers.
Cheetara
How does she become an orphan? How did she get to become the best Cleric that there was? How close was she to Jaga?
I want her to develop her sixth sense.
Panthro
How did he get to build a tank when he knew nothing about technology? How did he learn about technology? How did he lose his eye? Was he good friends with Lynx-o too?
The twins
Do they have a personal agenda? What happened to their parents? We know they know their mother’s song, and they lived in a house, so they weren’t exactly in extreme poverty I guess. Where did they get theirt weapons?
Snarf
Is he a one-in-a-kind species? Are there more Snarves? Are snarves like dogs or cats, or was he brought from another planet? Is he Lion-o’s pet, or was he brought for the brothers?
I think they missed very good opportunities to create bonds within the group. For example, we could have seen some empathy from Cheetara and tygra to teh twien gicven that they all were orphans; we could have seen an argue between Kit and Kat, etc. I’d like to see that too, if not that would be disappointing.
While I agree that it shouldn’t be swept under the rug, I DON’T think it should take up too much story-time. Sure, Lion-O was developing feelings for her when Tygra “won” her affection. However, they were just developing feelings. They were never consummated in any way and Tygra didn’t exactly “steal” her because of that. If Lion-O and Cheetara never got to the point where they were a couple, then Tygra did nothing wrong and Lion-O needs to just get over it. His love was completely unrequited and wasn’t, because of that, enough to warrant Tygra’s actions seeming like THAT much of a betrayal.
I agree with the twins space boards. That was an icon in the OS and the new toys have them. I am surprised that we’re this far into the series and no space boards.
Speaking of space boards, I’d love to see Tygra, Lion-O, Cheetara, Pumyra, and Bengali all flying around and fighting from space boards. I think that would look so cool.

Perhaps Tygra knew of Cheetara gaining conflicting emotions between the brothers and instead of loving his childhood best friend, he played her feelings to get at his bro. There’s no doubt that Cheetara does have feelings for Tygra, as there’s no doubt she also has feelings for Lion O. The question is, does Tygra have feelings for her or just because Lion O wants her? Maybe, maybe not. Hoping for the best of all characters but trying to look at all angles and avenues…
anyway back to him getting over it, lol seriously, yes if in fact the triangle is over (which I doubt with just 13 episodes) then Lion O does need to get over it, for good story telling’s sake it needs to be a struggle. He’s young and he just saw a girl he liked and thought liked him back sucking his brother’s face. If that doesn’t cause issues I don’t know what does… :p:eek:
Also I’d be gravely disappointed if we don’t see a knock down drag out fight between Lion O and Tygra, followed by a glorious battle with them fighting side by side.
How has Tygra played her feelings:confused:? He never even told her he had feelings for her, and from the looks of it he wasnt going to.
Saying Tygra was only trying to get back at Lion-O would make almost as much sense as saying Lion-O is only upset because he lost her to his brother, more so then he lost her period.
I can see where people could get the idea that Cheetara’s been using mind games, whether I agree with them or not. But Tygra has done nothing to suggest his feelings are not genuine.
Lion-O doesn’t have the right to be upset, but I can understand why he is. The bottom line is that he had feelings for her, and thought she felt the same way. He was wrong. Not only does she not feel as strongly, but he had to find this out by walking in on her and his brother kissing. Ouch. We all know the kids going to be upset.
I agree with both of these comments. I don’t want it pushed away without being resolved but I don’t want it dragged out for much longer. It’s annoying enough already.
There’s no evidence that they were childhood best friends. From what we saw, they were introduced to each other, they barely spoke as Tygra was rather shy around her, and then she was taken in by the clerics. She said she held onto what remained of his flower. Sounds to me that they did not spend any more time together after Jaga took her in until they met up in episode 1. Maybe not, but that’s how it’s come across to me.
His feelings for her have been made very obvious to us. He is not “playing her feelings.” I feel that much is certain.
We already saw that in the last episode. What more are you expecting?
I think perhaps Lion-O anger will mount from Cheetara’s and Tygra’s new relationship. Perhaps he’ll be able to release his anger in the anointment trials when he has to face Tygra.
Cheetara’s affections for both brothers is clear, Lion O’s feelings are clear, Tygra’s not so much. He never really showed much till Lion O started smiling at her. Because of that I have doubts, not saying I’m not wrong, but won’t be surprised if this blows up.
and if that fight in the AP was it for the brother’s rivalry, that was very weak. Lion O and Tygra need to war and Lion O needs to come out on top to prove his dominance, not in a trial, not in a alternate dimension, in front of the others to prove he is the rightful Lord of the TC. Until then, Tygra will keep riding the hype his father and Grune cultivated. perhaps that will come at the anointment trials, but I don’t expect that till toward the end of the series tbh.
Isnt the biggest complaint about this triangle is that Cheetara didn’t show interest until the very list minuet? Magi Oar hints at Tygra’s feelings while ITAP and BB make it obvious.
For what reason do you think Tygra lying about his feelings would be more likely then Tygra being to afraid to speak up on them?
Though I don’t think its necessary, I too think Lion-O will eventually best his brother in a fight. I dont think it has to be a war per se, maybe something like those trials/anointments that everyone’s been talking about?
I dont think it’s necessary because I dont think his sword skills are what make Lion-O a better king then Tygra. It’s something corny and disneyish . I’d bet the cows on it:thumbsup:
I mean Panthro and Cheetara are better fighters them him too. By that logic wouldn’t he need to defeat them too?
I’m pretty sure he’ll best his brother in a fight, but trust me that doesn’t make him dominant or a better fighter. Well not in the land of real sibling fighting:D. My brothers are 25 and 28 and the battle still continues . Sure the younger one has gotten lucky a few times, but big brother usually comes out on top. Its like some imaginary hierarchy that must be respected.
Again, Lion-o’s feeelings have been obvious becaus he has had 98% of the screen time; Tygra’s werent ebcause he’s got 1% of it, not enough to show his feelings.
Anyway, I hope this time teh anointment trials have nothing to do with the TCs, but Lion-o showing his abilities some other ways.
I like this idea. That he doesn’t completely, constantly beat his brother, though I wouldn’t be especially surprised if it went that direction, nor particularly disappointed. Also I think someone on tumblr proposed that perhaps lion-O simply grows to be Tygra’s equal physically. I think that might be more realistic as well, with again Lion-O one-upping him on occasion.
And yes. One of the things we’re hoping improves in the remainder of the series.
The only thing that would really get me is if Tygra is made out to be the villain that people who don’t like him make him out to be. I’m not worried about it, but it would get me, hypothetically.
Also I don’t want to see this romance thing become anything more than a cute, giddy, sideline that’s parallel to the action/adventure and perpendicular to character development.
Betting the romance thing, regardless who actually ends up with who, is just for more brotherly conflict. Lion O and Tygra will not get along completely until the end. They made some progress in the AP, so they have to have something to keep the boys at each other’s throats.
hi guyz, new here. i’d like to see pumyra, bengali and lynxo return - i know lynxo showcased in the 1st episode, but they should come back - perhaps at the end of the next season?
also - that nightingale episode - loved that ice queen - she should return also.

Does it have to be over Cheetara? At this point it would seem silly to drag that out another season. I would like to see something a little more constructive. How about the two bashing over how Lion-O goes about leading or fighting ? Tygra claims to have spent his time learning about the military and strategy and what not, he should be questioning Lion-O about things like that. Not only would it keep the conflict alive, but it wont over shadow anyone else’s development and potential.
I’m expecting the next episode to still have the love triangle conflict,maybe two or even three more. I just hope we dont have to see this play out over an entire season.
