What if Thundercats had a comic in the 90s?

The original cartoon may’ve ended in 1989, but I believe, since Warner Bros. purchased it at the time, they would’ve given the license to DC to continue the ThunderCats’ adventures.

I think it would have been awesome to get an “extreme” comic version of the ThunderCats in the 90s. I always wished that Alex Ross had done a ThunderCats comic in his amazing painted style. But at least he did do a variant cover.

It would have been good. The 90’s comics made Aquaman cool.
