After watching this show for as long as it’s been on, what have you come to expect from the writers? And what are you expecting in Season 2 (if there is one) based on what you’ve seen already?
Example:
Although i am hoping that Lion-O finds romance (if not a rescued/redeemed Pumyra, then maybe Willa or some new character), this series has, so far, led me to believe that the writers are bound and determined to make sure that Lion-O suffers like never before, and that means keeping him single. So if the subject of Pumyra being rescued and redeemed ever does come up, i imagine that the writers will make so she either passes on afterwards or just doesn’t get back together with Lion-O.
Cheetara getting more character developement.
I wouldn’t mind Panthro getting his arms back.
Kit/Kat getting better combat skills/abilities.
Finally seeing Bengali.
Lynx-o finally joining the group.
Panthro getting Nunchukus that use fire/ice like OS.
Seeing the Snowman of hook mountain.
Redeeming/saving Pumyra.
More flash backs, character/family backgrounds.
Seeing Lion-o use other powers of the Sword of Omens.
More characters/races from the OS.
Grune coming back as his BA ghost self.
A lot more monsters/animals of there world.
The SilverHawks/Monstar showing up.
Kit/Kat family reunion.
Aging the characters 5 years near the end of the series.
Cheetara gaining her cleric/supernatural abilities.
Wily Kit gaining some mystic abilities(spiritual/music).
They have to have Mandora.
Tygra’s Invisibility explained.
Cheetara’s character development (beyond the romance angle)
Panthro’s character going back to being more of a legendary warrior as he was early in the series and less of the comic relief he was portrayed as toward the end of the series.
Newer OS Thundercats - Introduce Bengali, bring Lynxo back into the storyline (including back story of what he has been up to), more on Pumyra (whether she stays bad or goes good)
I want to finally see the cat logo in their insignias, probably after something serious happens and they get revived by the Eye of Thundera. Probably this action would also destroy Mumm-Ra’s spell over Pumyra.
Afterwards I’d love to see Panthro regain his real arms via reconnection to the limbo that Grune was thrown in (maybe time doesn’t pass there, also this should free Grune to give us some action back).
A makeover for Panthro wouldn’t be bad, probably a total head shave. Talking about makeovers, I’d eventually enjoy more traditional/OS fan-friendly armors for all the characters and a new, leaner Thundertank.
Last but not least, I’d like to see again Lynx-O and eventually, Bengali. Lynx-O should be pretty much the same character with the OS but I’d like Bengali to be more of a funny guy who deep inside has big potential.
Finally, I would love a Cat’s Lair. Big, high-tech and aesthetically pleasing, true to the original. I think we had enough with the nomad-like constant adventure, the cats need to settle down.
I want everything that Dragon78 mentioned, except Mandora. And to rescue the other Cats properly and help them rebuild Thundera or at least a shadow of its former self.
Not hate talk; my opinion. The characters never caught on with me because of a lack of depth, not to mention the plot issues. They bored the heck out of me and that was true for me because the writers never did a proper job, just one battle after another. 15 minutes of warfare vs maybe 3 minutes of character development does not make for an entertaining story.
I don’t know, I guess I just was more intrigued by the characters overall. I didn’t see much character development in the OS either, but that’s probably just me. Especially with characters like Lion-O, I found a lot of depth with him and felt I could relate to him because I’m always being told that I’m not as good as other people because I’m younger. I can see how someone older wouldn’t think the same about that.
I think one thing new fans did like was Lion- o being younger and struggling with leadership and being a teen. I also think it drove many folks crazy, just like in the old series. It was hard to strike a balance in both showS? I just felt that given the circumstance of the OS, the characters had heart, something I did not see a lot of here because of the Game of Thrones heavy handedness.

It’s kind of a dumb question really, the only one who got enough screentime was Lion-O and i did like this version of him.
shoot’em up!! they had character development and hint to that development ep in advance. now the character did develop the way we thought they should but that half the fun.
