what happend to...?

 1. What happened to Leonard Starr. the writer for the first season and the early part of seson’s two Thundercats cartoon. I thought he was one of the best writers ever.

 2. Is Galtar: The Golden Lance ever going to be released on DVD?

 3. What about the Smurfs?

 4. I missed out on the Transformers cartoon on DVD and the Jem and the Misfits DVD. Will they re-release it?

 5. Remember Widget? Will they release it on DVD?

 6. Did anyone else get the Voltron DVD? I got it…barely. The BarnesandNoble had just one and Best Buy had none. Was it limited in release? I ask because this one is volume one and features the Blue lion on the cover and in the art, therefore I’m figuring that there will be four more volumes to represent each Lion. If it is a limited run, than I want to be aware of the shipping dates so that I can make sure I get them. Very cool DVD and packaging. They somewhat copied off the He-Man DVD packaging. I love how thye gave a pamphlet like the He-Man DVDs provided wit ha synopsis. Too bad the Thundercats do not have one of those.

Thanks in advance!

I agree with you on your assessment on Starr. He was an excellent writer. The Annointment Trials are my absolute favorite storyline. Sadly, I know NO info to pass on.

In regard to these questions, I suggest you check out www.tvshowsondvd.com at least once a day. This is a very reliable site. Thanks to them, I found out in time that one of my favorite series, The Greatest American Hero, was coming to DVD.

4. I missed out on the Transformers cartoon on DVD and the Jem and the Misfits DVD. Will they re-release it?

Right now, Sony has the rights to The Transformers and Jem. On 11/7/06, they will be releasing a 20th Anniversary/SPECIAL EDITION of Transformers: The Movie. Also that day, She-Ra S1V1 will be coming to DVD, too.

As far as I know, the “tin” version is a limited collectors’ edition. I doubt joints like Wal-Mart; K-Mart; Target, etc, would have the collectors’ edition. And you’re right, there will be more releases. You’ll be happy to know that Voltron Volume #2: Yellow Lion will be released on 11/21/06. As I said before, check www.tvshowsondvd.com at least once a day.
