I’m good with Dagger, Short, and Longsword..everything else seems a bit much.
Broadsword and longsword (2 hander) are pretty much the same thing, and B-trd sword is a little smaller and is able to be used with one hand or two.
Diffrent variations on each blade and size, but without getting so nit picky I’m just trying to say keep the sword simple and down to the three reasonable sizes..
From the new trailers it appears the sword blade is ‘normal’ metal, whereas in the original i always took it to be made of crystal (mainly because of the way it looked in ‘All that glitters’ when it was broken 1st by Tygra).
Crystals can grow, and do seem more magical than metal objects so I’m disappointed about this alteration/clarification(if it was metal all along and i’m just wrong :P)
I never thought it being anything other than charmed metal or some such, but crystal… hmm… obsidian blades do have a nasty edge to them. Not exactly crystal, just got me thinking.
I never thought of it as crystal. Only metal. Afterall I don’t see how a blacksmith can reforge crystal.
Yeah in truth I adopted this belief very early on in the series when the blade could only be re-forged by “star-fire” so until bengali and Charr were re-forging it in typical blacksmith style I never thought otherwise.
