I was curious within the Thundercats line, what do you collect?
Like every new collector, I started collecting by purchasing everything that caught my eye lol. As I continue to educate myself on all of the various obscure Thundercats production lines, I have narrowed my personnel collection down to the following:
[COLOR=“Orange”]Glasslite: I have every figure complete/ loose in various conditions (mostly poor unfortunately) I will continue to hunt MIB Glasslite for this collection
[COLOR=“Orange”]Playful: MOC figures only, as of right now I have 2, always hunting though
[COLOR=“Orange”]Unitoys Mini-Figures: MOC – I am only missing 4-5 from the complete set
[COLOR=“DarkOrange”]LJN 8 Back MOC in C7+ condition – the ultimate goal is the set of 8 with the both variations of Tygra and Cheetara as well as battery offer Lion-O and Mumm-Ra. These will go in three Ikea display cases. I have 6 of the 12 right now.
I have some other odds and ends that will eventually be sold, as they don’t fit within the parameters of what I am trying to build
What do you collect? And how far is your collection?
I concentrate on loose LJN toys, of which I have all of in excellent condition save for a Stinger with wings and a helmet.
I’ve begun getting into the comics now since my toy run is near complete. I have a complete run of the Marvel Star’s, and 99% of the Wildstorm stuff. I’m trying to get into the magazines, but they are far more rare. I have never seen a Thundercats comic in a comic shop (I live in the middle of America).
The toys (LJN) mostly. Even though I have a very small collection. It’s hard to collect toys that are older than you are lol. Also have tried collecting the statues, but they’re to expensive. Only managed to get Hard Hero Lion-O.
I plan on giving up collecting other things by the time the Bandai lines kick up, so I’ll most likely have a decent collection then.
