I’ve been working on Chapter 1 and so far it’s about 5 pages long.
Been watching MAS*H reruns on tv. Saw it on tv years ago and it never looked interesting. Caught my attention a couple weeks ago and I’m hooked! This is an AMAZING show! I love it! Seriously considering seeing if it’s on DVD and buying them, I love it so much. Gotta say my top favorite characters are BJ, Hawkeye, Father Mulcahy, and Colonel Potter. But Radar comes in close after that. Then Winchester and Klinger. Hot Lips is ok but her anger kind of annoys me. The only character I have absolutely not liked was the guy in the first few seasons who was replaced by Winchester. That guy was a jerk. Haven’t seen any of the early episodes to see the guy BJ’s character replaced, but I absolutely adore BJ.
Anyway, GREAT SHOW!!!
I’m watching a show called “Toy Hunters” and so far I like it.
Lately I’ve been listening to and enjoying a new CD compilation set I bought- UFO: The Chrysalis Years. UFO is a British band who started in 1970 and are still around today. Many consider them to be one of the most influential Hard Rock and Metal bands around. I’ve heard about them for a long time, but never seriously got interested in them until Eddie Trunk talked about them both on That Metal Show and his radio show on Sirius XM. And a few weeks ago he mentioned this set as a great starting-off point.
As the title says, it covers the span of their career from 1973-1979 when they recorded under Chrysalis Records. It contains all six full albums from that period: Phenomenon, Force It, No Heavy Petting, Lights Out, Obsession, and their acclaimed live album Strangers in the Night, plus many singles, edits, session recordings and B-sides. At a $40.00 price tag, that was a bargain. How could I not say no?
Having listened to over half of it, I have to say they’re a really solid Hard Rock band. I really am hard-pressed to think of another band they sound like. But if you like '70s British Hard Rock, you kind of know what to expect. The highlight is the guitar work by Michael Schenker, whom many contemporary Metal guitarists from Slash to Dave Mustaine to Kirk Hammett cite as an influence. Iron Maiden are also reportedly big fans too; playing the song “Doctor Doctor” before their live shows.
Here’s one of their most well-known songs: the title track from their album Lights Out played live. If you like this, pick up this set and get acquainted with this very good…and very underrated band!
Finally watching season two part two of Thundercats for the first ever time.
LOL, that’s probably going to be the next thing I buy on Amazon. 
Coming down off of cloud 9 after getting to meet my niece today. She is 100% adorable and 100% cute and 100% sweet and 100% beautiful. Her fussiness was minimal - she made it clear that she does not like her diaper being changed (she fussed the loudest when her mom changed it). And she very much likes falling asleep in your arms. Ah…

I’m relaxing at home after a great work day. I won a gift card and used it to replace the microwave.
