Just picked up a double feature made by BCI titled Welcome to The Grindhouse- Black Candles and Evil Eye and I must say that so far they have not dissapointed. If you saw Grindhouse at the theater you will see that they have put together the whole Grindhouse experience on this. They start the movie off with some 70’s style previews ala 2007’s Grindhouse, kicking right off to the movie and possibly an intermission in between the two. Also you have the option wether to watch them separately or get the whole “Grindhouse Experience”
You definitely get the whole 70’s effect on this one as the movie is has not been remastered in any form therefor giving you a unique experience. There is actually 2 movies been released under the title Welcome to the Grindhouse and two that are set to be released. It seems also that according to Amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/Grindhouse-Presents-Death-Kurt-Russell/dp/B000R7HY0K/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-0983233-6356820?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1184186863&sr=1-1 ) we will get Grindhouse as separate releases rather than the whole theatrical release. Unless of course they do some sort of special edition. Sad news for Grindhouse fans.
