I want to revamp how visitors contact the website. Perhaps a web form on the site that gets sent to all our email addresses will help reduce the amount of spam we get in our inbox and also help increase the communication with the visitors who contact us.
What do you guys think?

I must admit I don’t get a lot of spam to my he-fan@thundercatslair.org e-mail address - but, I have to say I think a web form would be a very good idea, and would help to reduce spam regardless of how much we’re each receiving. Plus, it looks cool! 
My vote? Make it so, number one!

My personal view on this as a web user is that I never ever ever use web forms because I don’t believe that they ever get answered. I may be a survey sample of one, but I’ve always felt web forms come across as completely impersonal and humanless.
That’s a very reasonable comment. I just need to figure out how to reduce the number of Viagra emails that I get from my email address. I used to get 50-75 emails about penis enlargement…a day. It’s not as bad at the moment, but I still have to sift through 25-50 of those same messages in order to read real emails.
We’re not going to get rid of our site email addresses, we’re just going to avoid putting it on an actual webpage. We could still give them out to PR, etc.
We can discuss the web form in more detail in the upcoming meeting, but one of the changes I’d also like to do is have some of the email addresses link to each team member.
For example:
All email sent to feedback@thundercatslair.org would be then forwarded to everyone on the team so that the person sending the email has a better chance of getting a reply.
I mentioned that I get a TON of spam via my email address and it’s difficult and tedious to have to go through which ones are not junk.
I think streamlining the number of email addresses is also something I’d like to do. Rather than have a cartoon@thundercatslair.org I’d use Chris’ email or a web form.
I know it’s a long time coming, but every little bit helps!
