Hey guys I had a chance to hit the internet while on vacation so signed in. Was very happy to see this bit of news… I think this is the right direction for WB to take, the smaller pieces, if done nicely will be sure to do better than the other lines. At least that is my guess.
Neil, what I tried to do last time there was a press release like this was to get a hold of the company named as the license buyer and see if I could get some exclusive news from them or an interview and photos etc. kind of like I eventually managed with Rob from Hard Hero.
I tried the same approach with Pop Culture Shock and never got a real response, just got an e-mail saying they would get in touch and then they never did despite a number of retries on my part. I would have tried to do the same here but there is just no way I can do it given the slow speed of the internet connection here.
I cannot wait to see what these toys may look like!
I contacted Icon Heroes via email through their website and they put us on their PR list. We should be getting the press releases directly rather than having to copy and paste it from another website. Pop Culture did the same, but we didn’t post it on the front page.
When they replied back to me, that’s when they told me about the SDCC exclusive Lion-O. I’m definitely going to be in line for it!!!
