Anyone else want to see the pinless, re-tooled Lion-O released in standard colors? I know we already have two Lion-Os, one from Mattel and one from Super7, but this new figure looks like it could be better looking overall. I’d like to see the updated sculpt released in the true color scheme, maybe an LJN inspired variant too? Fun options to have in my opinion, though at $55 each it does get a bit crazy. What do you think?

I think they’ll do it at some point, but i can’t figure when or where they’d fit it in, maybe as simple as pairing the regular lion-o with red lion-o’s updated accessories.

Yes.
I wouldn’t mind Super7 revisiting Lion-O, Panthro & Jackleman at some point to redo them with pinless joints

I thought I remember Sebastiaan saying S7 will keep the Lion-O and Panthro reissues pinned.

At the price point these figures are at, I don’t hate the pins enough to re-purchase characters I already have… However, if they removed pins plus redid Lion-O’s torso I think I’d pick him up.

Honestly, if they are redoing Lion-O he needs a whole new non-He-Man sculpt.

Yes but that doesn’t mean if fans ask for it that at some point down the road Super7 won’t reoffer their Factories version of original Lion-O & Panthro with pinless arms and legs. They could include new accessories with the figures.
Super7 already made the red Lion-O at their factory with pinless arms and legs.

I am sure some wants that because Lion O’s built is different from He-Man,vintage toy and in cartoons,but personally I collect this line of Thundercats because of the MOTUC buck. If this line is not existing, I would have kept and been happy with my Bandai 8 inches Thundercats Classic regardless they made only 2 regular release and 2 exclusives or I would have collect and try to complete tge Mattel line.

I want that because it is not possible to make cartoon accurate scaled Thundercats without altering the buck. The figures like Slithe and Captain Cracker look so much better than squashed Lion-O.

Agreed, I am happy to have Lion-O and he isn’t bad, but he looks worse and worse in comparison as time goes on and they do other characters so accurately.

It sucks to wait so long for delivery on a wave and once they’re in hand not being able to shake the feeling one of your figs looks like a kid in cosplay. I wanted Jaga to be my favourite of the wave, he ended up being the worst.

Indeed. All the characters, with the exception of Panthro look off compared to the more unique sculpted characters.

In that scale any S7 fig will :roflmao (Still love all of your stunning customs and wish they completed that line!!)
The third one is to hopefully have a young Jaga head one day if it does eventually come with a Spirit Jaga. I love his helmetless look from Exodus with the magic cloth so that’s my second look. Please don’t confuse proportion with scale. The Bandai buck custom figure is 8" scale, so bigger in scale than S7, but my point is his proportions are better.
