This is what happens when you base your figures off Mattel products. They did that in order to continue what Mattel started. However, if they were going to re-release the character Mattel did, they may as well have done something different with them but it would seem that they chose an easier option. Trouble is now, Thundercats is going to fall behind the other ultimates lines even though it was the first one announced.
Yes, that is what the industry expectation is. That portion of the process seems to be where super7ās execution breaks down 25%-50% of the time. The proto corrections are where the trunks, the mane, the guns, the shins, the āab-crunchā, the hips, the belt, and the sword should have been fixed, and despite specific claims otherwise in some cases, were not. In every instance⦠EVERY instance so far, the protos are what we get, regardless of what anyone at super7 has to say about correcting them.
All i want is what super7 repeatedly assured me i would have. Brian seems like a decent guy, I donāt know why he lies to us so often, writing checks his (butt) canāt cash. If i were a rug cleaner and i cleaned 50%-75% of my rugs to expectation, i would expect to be told i should find another line of work that might better suit me.
Super7 ULTIMATES!
Pre-Order Update
Hi Everyone -
We wanted to share an update about all of the Super7 ULTIMATES! production with you. Our made-to-order 7-inch scale ULTIMATES! figures are special because of the level of detail we bring to each subject. They are offered for a limited time via pre-order only.
While we try to give you the most up-to-date info as possible for our products, much like many consumer products manufacturers, we are at the mercy of the current climate in manufacturing and global logistics. As you may have heard in the NEWS, manufacturing and shipping across the ocean has been problematic to say the least.
Here are the most recent shipping dates for when ULTIMATES! Figures will leave from the factory for 2021:
New Japan Pro-Wrestling Wave 2 - 9/10/21
TMNT Wave 4 - 9/30/21
Major Wrestling Podcast Wave 1 - 10/15/21
The Good Brothers Wrestling Wave 2 - 10/20/21
Disney Wave 1 - 11/30/21
ThunderCats Wave 2 - 11/21/21
Conan The Barbarian Wave 3 - 11/30/21
ThunderCats Wave 4 - 12/30/21
The time frame for shipments was once a dependable 24 days on water but is now a wide-ranging variable due to a variety of factors. However, with all the current delays in the global shipping market, we are experiencing another 2-3 months for product to arrive from the factory and then be able to ship to our customers.
Rest assured, we are in close constant contact with both the factories and logistics companies and doing everything within our power to ensure our products are delivered to you as quickly and safely as possible.
For those of you who have participated in our pre-orders: As we get closer to shipping these products to your doorstep, we will be reaching out to ensure we have your most current ship-to-address. Thanks for your patience and patronage, we are eager to get all these amazing products in your hands!
So which wave will the corrected Cheetara come with?
Iām a very patient person. The shipping delays I completely understand - itās been all over the news. The QC issues are a real problem, but it does look like itās being addressed. My real issue comes from the fact that every couple weeks Super7 is putting up more Ultimates figures for pre-order, yet isnāt delivering anything. The perception on that is looking worse and worse. I know theyāre a business that wants to make money, but I really think they could use a couple months off from putting up more Ultimates pre-orders. Get the stuff thatās already in the works in peoplesā hands, then worry about adding more to the manufacturing queue in a few months. Thatās just my 2 cents.
While I am also aware of the shipping delays, I think itās a disgrace. Iām not blaming Super7 for that but I do agree about the pre-orders. There may not have been anymore Thundercats going up for pre-order but there are so many other things going up that it almost feels as though Thundercats is going to fall even further behind. It was supposed to be their first ultimates line and now look, itās been the worst one for delays. Putting other ultimates lines up for pre-order is not much different than if they had announced Thundercats wave 5 and 6. I guess they just donāt want to piss Thundercats fans off. At this point, Iām very curious to see whoās in the next few waves but of course that is going to be delayed just like the rest of the line. These delays are killing the momentum of the line.
I agree. I work at a business that prides itself on excellent customer service. They always teach us about perception, and to make sure that we are away of how what we say and do can be perceived. My perception of the constant pre-orders every couple of weeks is getting worse and worse with all of the delays. I just think they should hit the snooze button on some of these things until other Ultimates start landing in customersā mailboxes.
Well yes because everybody knows that finishing what you started is bound to take longer if you add extra tasks. The priority has to be getting things back on track before announcing new stuff. If they can hold off on announcing more Thundercats waves, they can hold off on the other stuff. There isnāt much difference. If Super7 think that not announcing wave 5 and 6 is going to prevent Thundercats fans from getting pissed off, they may want to have a re-think because announcing other ultimates lines is going to piss us off. We already are in regards to the delays but those announcements just add to it. Some people will want all the ultimates lines. Those people are still paying out more and more without receiving anything if theyāre ordering directly from Super7. Thundercats fans are going to feel like this property is becoming less and less of a priority when other lines get announced and the fact that TMNT are now on the verge of revealing wave 6 just shows how far behind Thundercats has fallen.
Thanks for the update.
I guess my excitement to these Thundercats will have to extend for the 1st quarter 2022 soonest from where Iām located.
I do not collect all the lines under the Ultimates! banner but I sure am sticking to the Thundercats line. My only regret is I canāt afford the Thundertank. I am very much interested to the Silverhawks and the new G.I.Joe Ultimates but I made a decision lately to hold those lines off my list when there was a rumor on the MOTU Classics return (which is only a rumor).
Anyway, when wave 2,4 and 3 shipped i better be hearing news about Vultureman, snarf and the kittens on wave 5.[emoji4]

This has been such a difficult ride for us.
Never known anything like it and yet Iām not even surprised. It feels like someone has cursed Thundercats. First there was Bandai and the 2011 show, then Mattel and now the people who are working with Super7 messing things up ever since Super7 got the licence. Even the other toy companies arenāt being let down to this extent. Who are these people that Super7 are working with? If things are going wrong in the factories in China, there is only so much that Super7 can do from their end but questions need to be asked. On top of all that, an unprecidented global pandemic becomes an excuse for the shipping service to go to shit and demand more money. You couldnāt make it up. All this when we were finally about to get something weāve wanted for a long time and should have gotten years ago. All the previous fiascos has made the want even stronger so all this has been hard to take.
So wave 4 is leaving the factory before wave 2?
Yes because wave 4 was made at Super7ās factory while wave 2 was made at the Mattel Factory, and Mattels Factory has NOT made super7ās wave 2 a priority.
I donāt mind getting them out of turn, because I know I will be getting them all in the not to distant future
Thatās true but originally they said that wave 2 was due to leave before 4. I think it was supposed to be at the end of this month so it must have fallen even further behind but at least wave 4 seems to be on schedule now and wave 2 will be pretty soon after. Iām just glad theyāre leaving before Chinese new year. I actually donāt mind wave 4 coming first. Iām crious to know when Cheetara is due to leave the factory. P.S. Hate the Mattel factory. Swines they are.
Donāt quote me, but I think someone posted in the fwoosh forum that Cheetara was coming im march of 2022. Not sure if they meant leaving the factory or arriving in the USA.
For it to arrive in March, it would probably have to leave around the same time as wave 2 leaves. Otherwise it will probably leave in March because it wonāt leave in February with it being Chinese New Year.
