Shredder also showed with a sculpted cape, then they changed it to cloth, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did the same with Jaga, I hope not.

I understand what your saying but the Jaga you saw was the original one 4H made for Mattel and that cape is not plastic its painted resin since these are all only 4H painted Resin Sculpts. Info on each of the figures doesn’t show up until the pre-order and Jaga will most likely get a high quality Soft Goods cape, because Super7 has a company that strictly deals in High Quality Soft Goods for action figures handling this. The capes have wire sewn inside so they can be posed in any position the person wants which could give Jaga some really great added poses that a stiff plastic cape wouldn’t allow.
You have a confusion with the term “sculpted cape”, no matter if the prototype is resin or not, “sculpted cape” means that it was not designed to be made of cloth.
In the Mattycollector Classics era it was exactly the same, the 4H sculpted the capes, but Mattel didn’t have the tendency to lower costs changing a “sculpted cape” for a soft cape after showing the prototype.
While I would take either, I agree with this. I like soft goods capes so I’d be happy if that is what Jaga came with. It would also make sense seeing as how the other cloaked/caped character we’ve seen is being done that way.

I understand what your saying but I dont think its accurate. In the past Super7 have done a mix of sculpted and soft good capes.
Sculpted capes look really nice in my opinion, as long as they don’t get in the way.
Yes 5 years ago when Mattel should have made Jaga he would have had a plastic cape, now Super7 is free to give him a Soft goods cape if that’s how they want to go. I have no confusion about this at all.

Super7 is free to lower costs and charge us more, of course.

I prefer the plastic cape. I don’t mind having an extra soft goods one but I doubt he will because of the way it is sculpted with the logo on his chest. If that could be plugged out and replaced with a cloth version I won’t mind but I do prefer the way he looks now.

Yeah, even though I prefer cloth, if it meant changing it now then I’d stick with plastic because I like this figure as it is and like I said before, I’m happy with cloth or plastic. I would have liked a young head but it doesn’t look as though he’s coming with that. He’d have to have a third head and I don’t know how likely that is.
Their He-Man Ultimates figure had 4 heads in total… so I bet its possible. Maybe that just wasn’t shown or finished. I’m sure this figure won’t just come with two swords and an extra head for $45.
All figures look amazing. Slithe needs warp gas and a blaster for sure, I would pay a few extra bucks for those accessories on top of the price tag for more accessories.
Finally a Jaga! I am happy with him, I am thankful the figures are finally starting to roll out. Just start shipping them already.

I really hope the Coronavirus doesn’t mess this all up. Obviously I don’t want it spreading either but I think that ship has sailed. I just hope it’s not as bad as people are making out. It’s sent the world into a frenzy.
I was due back at work on the 24th Feb, just got word that we won’t be back until the 23rd of March, and even then there will be no students in attendance. Stuck at home for another month.
