There’s no excuse. What kind of factory can’t even assemble action figures correctly? It needs to shut down. What purpose does it serve? They get nothing right, look at wave 1. I don’t want to have to reassemble my own figures that I’ve paid a lot of money for. It’s not like I can just go to a nearby retailer for a replacement if it goes wrong. It’s also the most important villain figure and they’ve ruined it. It could have been a very impressive figure. Why don’t they want to make these figures? What’s their beef?
When you pay people bare minimum you get what you get. They aren’t going to find a perfect factory, they don’t exist. And certainly not at what they want to pay.
This is a Mattel factory that clearly does not prioritize the S7 run at all. That doesn’t make errors acceptable, but it’s the reason. We have to hope S7 factory will at least not have the errors (even if you don’t like the tooling or paint ops in the end).
Yes but you’re getting piss poor versions of what coud have been some of the most impressive and anticipated figures of the whole line. No factory is perfect but this one is not even competent with these figures. Fans are not paying the bare minium, they’re paying more than what they usually pay for these types of figures. Let’s be real here, despite being wanted by Thundercats fans, obviously, they’re still only worth about $25-30/£20-25
Oh I totally agree. They have to make this right one way or another thanks to the price. And I’m sure they will make an effort. Assuming it’s widespread. Think about it, if you’re S7 you have to be just as disappointed to be going through this yet again, after all this time.
The world seems inept anymore though and it seems ThunderCats is not immune.
Yes, I’m not even blaming Super7, I’m blaming that factory. Someone needs to go in there and give the staff a good slap because they’re mugging us off. I’d sack them and replace them because it’s just not good enough, not even close anf they’re not doing it for free. Thundercats is never immune, it’s usually the first casualty. How many Thundercats fans can actually sit down after being shafted every time the franchise looks to be making a comeback in some capacity?

This is 100% super7’s. No company is the singular victim of so many “factory” errors. I need to go kick a tree.
I’m actually becoming less confident for any of the following upcoming waves of this Ultimates line anymore. I may even have to cancel my Thundertank preorder if this is the consecutive problems the line always get since Wave 1.

Even with the slanted eyes the paint apps around the eyes were at least accurate to the cartoon…unlike the production figure.
Yes, it is more accurate here. I wasn’t crazy about this head when I saw it but I do prefer it to the one in the most recent image. That one looks like a bootleg version of this one. The reason I pre-ordered Cheetara was mainly for the character than the actual figure. I was not blown away when I saw it and not as excited for this figure as I was for others. Having said that, Cheetara is an essential character for me so if I’m deciding to back a Thundercats toyline and creating my own personal collection, she has to be in it but ideally, I want her to look better than what she does in the latest image.
Word on the (twitter) street is Cheetara is pushed back til Q2 2022, but the rest of series 3 will be released together… Soon… er.

She may need fixing but why does it have to take so long? They’ve already had ages to complete this figure and that awful image was what they produced after having over a year to work on it. There was plenty of fan input received when the initial images for wave 3 came out.
