They can only keep blaming the Mattel factory so much. Their products made in their usual factory also have numerous issues.
Also it wasn’t that long ago people were championing them for using the Mattel factory for higher quality products like Stridor etc.
The usual Super 7 apologists just keep making excuses for the company.

It’s about time more fans started contacting Warner Bros and demand them to let other companies to make Thundercats action figures instead of Super 7.

Not everyone who collects the line is Negative. I love how the negative people who only complain call those of us who like the product Super7 Apologists. Other companies have also had Thundercats lic and NEVER EVER made the complete teams since LJN.

Mattel had the lic and screwed their customers.
Bandai had it and screwed the customers.
At least Super7 has been giving us the complete core teams and the Four Horsemen are Sculpting the figures.
If you don’t like Super7 don’t buy their product but don’t insult the rest of us who appreciate a toy company for taking on the lic and is trying to please the customers by calling us apologists when Super7 is giving us the core teams Thundercats & Mutants, not to mention giving us characters that never saw toy form before.

I think you will find the company was called “LJN.” ;):laugh

You also didn’t mention how Mini-Mates and the Loyal Subjects made the majority of the main cast of heroes and villains.

Great idea, why don’t you be the first to contact WB since you had that chip on your shoulder with regards to Super7 for like forever.[emoji3]you obviously have a lot of time for that.

Tell WB (who I dare say is screwing the IP of Thundercats from day 1) to let other companies do the toys. Tell them to ask the big company like Mattel or Bandai if their interested. Maybe NECA with their superb quality control.[emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
Too bad LJN cannot do Thundercats anymore.

I do respect your opinion and non preference to Super7 but your constant attack on those people who likes Super7 is as riidiculous as Jaga’s 3 heads, too much and not needed.

Super7 handling of the Thundercats sucks and problematic but for someone like me who wants to have at least the core hero and villain appreciate that they committed to give those unlike those toy company who abandoned it. And they even eventually give us Silverhawks which no other comany dare to do so. I do not like the delay and recurring issues but I am a patient man and not about to give up on Thundercats when I am this close in getting what I want. That is a personal opinion.

If you want you could also contact them as you also seem to have a lot of free time as you always have enough free time to chime in and defend Super 7 when ever anyone critiquues their products.

I have also never championed NECA’s products they have had lots of issues…but then again they have never messed up that bad that they had to send their customers “booster packs.”

You are correct about Jaga’s heads…the old man version is a complete waste of plastic.

They may be making Silverhawks but I still can’t work out why or why people would even want them as Silverhawks is a terrible cartoon…but not as bad a Tigersharks.

I was poking around different boards on this “female hips” thing that Super7 seems to struggle with? Granted it was nearly a decade ago, but their Teela figure had the same wide hip problem in the proto - they released a picture of the test shot with the hips fixed. THEN proceeded to manufacture and ship the figures with two randomly selected lengths of hip pegs - some wide, some fixed, both versions on one figure… Hahaha, I mean, good grief, what is going on over there? They actually managed to make things even worse. Factories must hate Super7’s guts and have a good chuckle as they revenge screw up Super7’s stuff constantly. Whatever. It is what it is (it also isn’t what it’s not), i have no confidence they’ll fix it after this Teela debacle (if they corrected it then, why not use THAT buck?? Why go back to the v1 that they know is wrong??). Cheetara will be in a wide legged action pose or be relegated to a perpetual seat in the tank. Aye-aye-aye!

Respectfully, you do not even buy ThunderCats from Super7 because you do not like their sculpts. Therefore making a statement like this is contradictory since it isn’t even something you support. You are a spectator of a race you’re not even part in. You’re welcome to your opinion, but you don’t dig a hole in front of those of us who are running a race we’re fully well informed in of the obstacles that may be in the road. And if you’re not well informed, there are many platforms that have the latest information.

I’m not saying Cheetara is perfect. Everything I see on that photo is excellent except the hips, but that has been addressed by Brian himself: “Things that are clearly in process and at the factory don’t look like final. If you look at Cheetara, she doesn’t even stand straight at this point. We are still working on it.”

If you’re a supporter of the line and it does not deliver to your liking, by all means, complain directly to S7 and tell them you don’t like what they did with a certain product. But running to WB because you have an issue with a line you don’t even collect. I’m sorry, it does not make sense. You don’t complain about something you have no stake in. You may support the IP and want it to be the best it can be, but when a product isn’t your taste, you can (as you have) say you don’t like it, and that is fine. I don’t collect the POPs because to me it’s, well, silly. Cute but silly. But I won’t run to WB demanding that they put a stop to these figures that has its own fan base. I can appreciate the product for what it is. But in all seriousness I take offense to your statement of telling WB to stop S7 from making these figures.

If anybody needs to make some noise with WB, it is not to complain about this collectors line, but to ask them to push this IP. News of the movie is the first we’ve had in years and this is fantastic. I’d say these last few years since Mattel stopped the line (and after the 2011 versions from Bandai), there has been more ThunderCats product available than ever before. Which means its finally on the rise, but I bet it can do much better.

I always wonder why nobody complains to all the recent MOTU/WWE figures Mattel is releasing lately. And if Mattel is to blame for not fixing Super7’s TC unfixed problems, how is it the quality of S7 figs isn’t still as par as all the current Mattel figs if they used to manufacture from their old factory?
[/QUOTE]

I did not say for Super 7 to be stopped making them but for WB to allow other companies to make products some of fans could actually buy and enjoy.
Transformers, TMNT, Disney, Marvel, DC, Star Wars, MOTU, Power Rangers, Ghostbusters etc all have different companoes making different figures…but all Thundercats has in Super 7.

As for not collecting Super 7 Tundercats you are correct, I refuse to buy any products from that company due to their constant track record of incopetece with all their products.

You did say for super 7 to be stopped making them . Below are your exact words.
“It’s about time more fans started contacting Warner Bros and demand them to let other companies to make Thundercats action figures instead of Super 7.”
You seem to have a hard on for super7 and love to bash them a lot but since you have no horse in this race maybe its time you just keep quiet up for a change and let those of us who enjoy the line have our fun without you trying to spoil the party.

I don’t have to repeat what MJW41 quoted you on as that is how I read it too.

Your above statement however is more than fine by me. If you do not mean to have WB stop S7 from making this line, but to have more companies also make it, then by all means - I’d say contact the companies you think will deliver a product you like and ask them if they’re interested in pursuing the license as well in the scale they produce. That could be more productive if they see they have a market.

Variety is the spice of life. TMNT fans can pick and choose what they prefer in today’s market. It would be cool if that was an option for ThunderCats. I don’t know the ins and outs of the licensing terms with WB, but this scale to me and many others is just what we wanted so it will remain my preference. I understand it isn’t for everyone and also understand your refusal to buy, however I haven’t experienced the concerns that’s keeping you at bay. I guess we all have different experiences; so I tend to make up my own mind from my own experiences.

It should say “…instead of JUST Super 7.” We can all make typing mistakes.

I Meant for other to pruce figures as well, not just Super 7.

Sorry, I don’t have time to contact WB or anybody for that reason.[emoji52]

And I rather have a free booster pack than nothing everytime I see different shade of blue on my figure.[emoji849]

Also Silverhawk are cool enough to have a new line of figures.[emoji848]

And really? You ok with Super7 making Thundercats along with other toy companies instead of Super7 competely out on it?[emoji16] Sorry but it is difficult to believe that, you are more like “WB take the Thundercats license away now to Super7 kind of a guy”.[emoji16]But then again we have to agree to disagree, I can respect that.[emoji28]

That’s very true we all can make typing mistakes, yet unlike you I don’t take pleasure in pointing it out to someone in a sarcastic way like you do.
I meant LJN but I hit the G instead of the J when typing but it didn’t stop you from saying “I think you will find the company was called “LJN.” ;):laugh”

Knowing your distain for super7 I’m very sure you meant your original statement exactly how you typed it. Only now after several people called you out on your BS are you claiming it was a typo. Since you don’t buy anything super7 makes which includes Thundercats maybe its best for yourself and everyone else in the forum if you just kept quiet about the line and Super7 because those of us who actually have a horse in this race want Super7 to be successful with Thundercats.

Has Super 7 overpromised and underdelivered? Yes. Do almost all companies do this at this point? Yes. It is a cultural problem not unique to Super 7 or ThunderCats. So are the manufacturing errors - no line or property is immune from them. It’s the reality of mass produced complex products - there can and will be errors. Quality control is important but even it is not perfect.

That said, they can do better. But I honestly don’t really have a problem with those hips unless they don’t function properly…

You have to also give them credit where credit is due - they are much more transparent and open than other companies. They only reason we are even discussing this is because they leaked pictures of their own test shots. And Brian has already commented back. That’s way better than what you would ever get from Mattel or Hasbro for instance.

LOL would you have time contact WB to say how great Super 7 are and what an awesome job they are doing with Thundercats?

I am fine with Super 7 making TMNT as other companies like NECA are able to offer a superior alternative to fans.

No it’s not a typo and if you don’t beleive that by all mean I can show you a private message to The All American in which I stated “not just Super 7.”
Also while we are on the topic of corrections, Sebastiaan, motogp-fanatic and yourself does not qualify as several people.

As a Thundercats fan anything I have said regarding Super 7 handling of the line has been for the good of the Thundercats brand and not what was best for myself. I have also said similar about Mattel’s handling of the line. You however have shown you are more interested in what is good for Super 7 rather than any of the licences they work on.

Good luck to all you guys with a horse in this race…the race has had quite a few delays. Enjoy your figures.

Thank you we will enjoy our figures I’m very sure of that.

“Also while we are on the topic of corrections, Sebastiaan, motogp-fanatic and yourself does not qualify as several people.”

I think before you make a statement like that you should look the word up.
Last I looked Several people is more than two. So the three of us make up Several people.

Well, yes. It’s an option as a regular customer. Also, Funko already did their own version of TC figures release, so I guess WB had let the license open to anyone who would be willing to pay for their rights to use them. But currently only one was willing and that was S7 (since Funko already stopped manufacturing their figures). It’s not competition, really, if we have another toy company do their TC figs, if you’ve been buying a lot of toys for years.
