just a heads up, Warner has opened their S2V1 site already!
there’s the typical setup in place, look at the photo gallery, it seems to feature shots off the disc covers! They have stepped up the artwork on the character shots a bit, would you not agree? here is the link:

I’m starting to wonder if the person that draws the covers has even seen the show. I’ve never seen the gang look so angry as they do on the DVDs.
Good point about the “mean” look.. although I’m sure Marketing at WHV was “hard at work” trying to come up with a current “trendy/cool” image for the Tcats, and this is what they have to show for it. I know nothing can beat the original art, but you have to admit, angry-look aside, It’s pretty cool to see this newer look. I would not complain if this was the look used for the possible relaunch of the cartoon. My only other theory for their angry looks are that the mutants kidnapped snarf and the thunderkittens, as they have been MIA on the main covers for the last two releases.

Snarf and the Thunderkittens were on a cover in the first release. Their cover is the only one without the anger issue. 
Whoo S2 already huh? I just finished watching the first half of Season1. I’ll look for s1part 2 later…

I’m going to have my copy of S2, Vol 1 by Monday…does ThunderCatsLair.Org want an early review?
the reason I get it early is that I run the largest Batman fansite around these parts, Legions of Gotham (see sig), and I get a lot of WB DVD releases to review.
