after getting rid of thundercats1 off this site at last i am happy to come back on here-after i was threatened by him via personal messages.
quickly has anyone bought from elevengeo on ebay.co.uk as he is selling some bits but you cannot view his previous t.cats sales even though there is feedback from 1 month ago?
Yes I’d be cautious about any seller selling so many of the rarer figures carded. Especially considering there was a known scammer in the Glasgow area doing just that before
All we can do is warn folks to be careful. Unfortunately not all Thundercats collectors who buy on Ebay visit this site
elevengeo AKA Maclover was shill bidding on ebay. He listed the same items for sale in two different accounts. Ebay have taken down all his TC’s figures. Becareful
okay so i have paid for the item and i really hope it get the item.
i have spoken to them and he/she sounds really nice and i spoke to someone who recently bought a thundercats item off them and said they were brilliant.
This story struck a chord with me. About 8 years ago I sent payment for an Astral Moat Monster (via USPS MO, which at the time was the safest way to pay) on eBay to a seller in the UK named “fingerztoes” (or something like that). I’m not certain the specific UK city was Glasgow, but I would say that sounds right. The item did not have a picture. Long story short, I never received my Astral Moat Monster. By the time I realized it really wasn’t coming the seller’s account had been deactivated by eBay, and the “money back guarantee” from USPS ended up being an impossible rigmarole.
Like I said, this was 8 years ago, so my memory is a little hazy on the details, but it sounds likely that this was the work of the same person. Which makes me wonder if this person really has been doing this for this long, and why this person would choose Thundercats as the thing they are going to fake sell. Surely there are more expensive things that can be fake sold.
