One thing that I always wondered was why did Tygra’s outfit color keep on changing? In the cartoon series it was grey-ish in most of the episodes. In most comics and the LJN figures it was green-ish. In the Bandai figure and in some comics it was bluish.
Anyone have an explanation or perhaps a theory as to why this discrepancy existed? And what is your favorite color incarnation of the striped feline?
I remember an older discussion 2 or 3 years ago concerning Tygra’s actual outfit color. Even though we mostly see him in a blue/grayish portrayal in the OS, the real color as it was produced was the green tone outfit. This comes from the original animated cells during production. Due to the vhs format and poor visual quality in the 80s, Tygra was presented with a more blue tone.
A member had brought us pictures comparing both versions but we concluded then that the real is the one with the green touch.
