[SIZE=2]The following will be a list of figure/accessories variations that I have encountered, in the future I can go more in depth into the package variations and such. Variations will be LJN related only, not foreign related (for ex. Playful). If need be Neil I can also specify in which series each variation was released (if known)

Lion O- Red Hair, Orange Hair, Maroon Hair, Smooth Back/Painted Eyes (Thunderwings)

Tygra-Old, Young, Painted/Unpainted Straps on Bottom of feet

Panthro- long chain/short chain nunchucks?

Cheetara- yellow/skin colored skin

Bad Guys

Mumm Ra- dark accesories, light accesories, black dagger, smooth back/painted eyes (Luna Lasher)

S-s-slithep- Dark colored, Light colored

Jackalman- Shoulderpads (small spikes, large spikes)

Ratar O-silver daggers w/ eyes, black daggers w/ eyes

Stinger- clear wings, shimmering wings

Ma Mutt- silver chain, black chain

Accesories

Laser Sabers-Orange,Blue,Black,Red

Vehicles

Figures:

-Lion-o also had a different toned body as well, but this might be the variation you refer to as maroon coloured hair. Don’t forget the sword and claw colour variations too!

-Panthro The chain on nunchucks isn’t a variation as far as I’m aware. The variation is that the connecting piece to the chain on the nunchucks is different (one hoop shaped, the other hooked)

-Tygra, different whips handle lengths, and then the black handled whip.

-Ratar-o, silver daggers with eyes is a foreign variation. This should be silver daggers only (no eyes)

-Tuska Warrior, different sized gun handles, different head.

-Jaga, different toned body (flesh/yellow) might be Playful, but no solid evidence?

-Bengali, different painted faces?

-Snarf, different packaged variations (side and facing profile)

-PVC Wilykat (different sculpt one packed with young Tygra and one packed with old Tygra)

Vehicles:

-Thunderclaw, one has wheel underneath, other doesn’t. Also UK version does not come with the claw grip pieces.

-Nosediver, different pipe pieces, one hard plastic (dark purple) and other soft plastic (light blue)

That’s all I can think of right now. If I think of any other I will add to this thread :slight_smile:

Had a go at putting an index page together for the Variations section and this is what I came up with:

As you can see from the image I made, I’m not the best at using Photo software programs. That image was the best I could do at my non-existant skill level. If somebody changes it I assure you I won’t take offence! :smiley: lol

In the lists I think I pretty much covered all the variations. Hopefully within the next few weeks I can start adding each variations page in and update the list accordingly by turning each listing into a link to that particular figure/weapon/vehicles page.

Let me know what you guys think.

I want to add that the snowman has a helmet variation.

Panthro’s nunchucks the only ljn variation is the ends of the handles like neil said. The metal ones just like the metal chain on ma mutt and monkians ball and chain are foreign releases. I think panthro and monkian are from south america while ma mutt is from europe.

I think that the brown body Neil is refering to is the Childbro liono

The flesh toned jaga is a playful version

Lynx-o was also released in germany with a version that had eyes. I have one in the mail as this is being written

Ok, just an update from me on this section.

Soon to be completed (specifically within the next 24 hours) are:

-Packaging Variations (standalone page outside toy variations section)

and then the following Toy variations pages for:

-Ssslithe figure
-Cheetara figure
-Bengali Hammer
-Mumm-Ra Sword and Dagger

However I need a close up pic of the darker red handle Mumm-Ra sword (I have a pic of the lighter red one)

Manny, do you have a pic of the dark red sword I can use?

I dont have a pic but I can sure take them for you, as well as the dark head dress. If you need to which I think its the way to go is to take a pictue of the whole Mumm-Ra since basically all the red parts are darker colored not just the accesories

Well if possible I’d sooner the pics be focused on the accessories only, though if your taking pics of the accessories from a carded example it’s ok as it’s inevitable you will also get some of the figure in the pic.

The colour variations on the Mumm-Ra figure itself will be discussed in the entry on the variations guide for the Mumm-Ra figure (if you notice I split figures, weapons and vehicles into 3 different categories)

So if you can take pics of light and dark red headdress and dark red sword that would be great!
