Just came into mind an idea that was brought up a while back and that is to perhpas have the instruction sheets for the different toys up on the webiste for people to download. If they were to be downloadable, of course we would put a watermark on it and people would just have to deal with the watermark. People would at least have access to it and print a personal copy. What does everyone think…This can get started soon with a couple of scans and would expand what we have to offer to the collectors.But i would definitely keep away the rare instructions (like for the Tongue a Saurus)
I’m still not keen on the idea to be honest. I think they should just be at a readable size and that’s it. It just takes the fun out of collecting when things are just handed directly to you.
As for the Tongue-A-Sauras instructions Manny, you just reminded me. I’ll scan those now for you 
Once done, I’ll post a link to them here. Once on the site these will need heavy watermarking!
But if they are scaled down but readable it is ok? If thats cool then that can be started. On a side note I plan on basically getting the toy guide almost finished (minus 2 things) within the next week

Thanks Neil youre awesome…as far as displaying it anywhere…well my original plan was to NOT have it displayed at all. Its a rare instruction piece and we cant afford to have copies of this going around even if theyre watermarked. Thre’s some talented people out there that can manipulate watermarks very easily so this is not one Im willing to take a chance on

I havent begun creating the pages yet but i plan on doing very soon. I think that perhaps rather than announcing them right away we can get together one massive update rather than just a toys update so even if i finish this section out I will wait it out for more. So far there is 4 Toy Guide Pages done and I believe one more article plus the directions sub-section and whatever else comes from the cartoon section. So I think we can hang on and on launch day perhaps we can not only have a redesign but a massive update to the website to go with it, plus a giveaway if everyone agrees to that. Its looking very bright for TCL guys…keep up the awesome work!!!
EDIT: Neil I took the freedom to greatly improve your instructions using a little bit of photoshop.The instructions looked yellow perhaps because of age but now you can have a copy free of yellowing and it looks almost like the real thing. Update: The Toy Instructions Sub-Sections is basically ready to launch…link here http://www.thundercatslair.org/toys/instructions.htm with 6 toy instructions. All watermakred,all resized but readable. There is one minor problem and this is where Kyle’s help will be much need.
Kyle: If you look at this page http://www.thundercatslair.org/toys/mummrainstr.htm you will see that the header says Cat’s Lair…could you possibly make one that says Mumm-Ra’s Tomb Fortress? That would be awesome if you could. I dont plan on launching this sub section yet because I plan on keeping it for when December rolls around and we can have one huge update. I just see it better that way plus theres other instructions we may be able to get.
Matt: Is it possible for you to scan any instructions that you dont see on the instructions main page? That would be awesome and more content for that sub section. I Think we may need Luna Lasher, Thunderwings, Nosediver,Hovercraft, Astral Moat Monster and several others. You dont have to resize them or watermark them as I can do that to make it look uniform. I’ve only had a quick glance at this, Manny, but what I’ve seen looks awesome! I love pages that are thumbnail-based, and I think this subsection will just make the Toy Section here at TCL even more cool and comprehensive!
I have one question, and I very much hope I don’t offend you by asking - would you be offended if I asked if I could make a couple of minor edits to your text on the main page for the Toy Instructions? I remember you saying that you didn’t mind this, which is why I’ve stuck my neck out and asked - if you’d prefer to leave it as it is then of course that’s completely cool, I just hope I haven’t offended you by asking!

Anyways, this would be my revised version:
Thundercats toys were released in two varieties of packaging, carded and boxed. Boxed toys would usually include both LJN’s famous mini catalogues and also a set of instructions, the exceptions for this being a handful of toys such as the Snarf plush and possibly the Sword of Omens. Some of these instructions are highly sought after, such as the ones from the Astral Moat Monster and the Tongue a Saurus, and unless you have these items sealed it can be very difficult to acquire them.
Our objective here at TCL is to bring you these instructions for your viewing pleasure. There will be more to come soon and we will try to do our best to provide you with the most complete source of instructions. So, please enjoy these Thundercats toy instructions!

My only suggestion would be to remove the page 1, page 2 etc.. text under each thumbnail as I don’t think it’s really needed. Especially since some instructions only consist of one page!
Anyway, I decided to make a list of instructions we still need to add below, the ones in bold I can provide.
Nosediver
Thunderclaw (these are in poor condition from yellowing, so I’d only recommend we use mine has a last resort!)
Hovercat (very slightly yellowed)
Astral Moat Monster (did this have instructions?)
Luna Lasher
Thunderwings
Tongue-A-Sauras (this can be displayed, but may need 2 watermarks!)
Laser Sabers I have the instruction sheet from the black saber (were they all the same?)
So we only need the instructions for Nosediver, Thunderwings and
Astral Moat Monster (if he had them) and possibly Thunderclaw.
Cool stuff Neil…The ones that consist of multiple pages I’ll leave the page number to show which page it is…the ones with 1 page i can remove the page number. If you can scan what you have that would be great…photoshop does magic on yellowing paper and I will be able to probably remove most of it.The Tongue a Saurus will be only displayed with your permission and under your terms. 2 watermarks can be done as well as 1 small on each corner. I just want to make sure nobody prints to sell them or profit from them.As far as the Laser Saber goes they all should be the same. Send me a link when you have scanned them. Thanks again

Just thought of something else!
On the Thunderclaw instructions page Manny, you could say as a Note of Interest:
Even though the Euro Thunderclaw does not come with the mechanical claw pieces, the Euro instructions are the same as the LJN ones which show where to place these claw pieces!
This could have been slightly confusing for anyone buying a UK/Euro Thunderclaw as they may have thought that the claw pieces were missing from the box when buying the vehicle brand new! But infact, the claw pieces did not come with any of the Euro packaged Thunderclaw vehicles.
Ok everyone the instructions sub-section is finished with 11, yes 11 set of instructions. All links work and have their respective headers as well. Manny, I think that it is a good idea but I would not put them up as full size documents. I think that there would be a lot of people printing them and selling them with there stuff claiming they are real. I understand the watermarks are a good idea but people can get around them, I think they would best if they were 3/4 of the original size, and with watermarks.
The ones that are up are actually downsized but perhaps may need more downsizing. Im going to downsize them a bit…if someone really wanted to print them all they have to do is after saving them then enlarge them and still get around it. I guess one may never be able to prevent such things but downsizing may be the best idea along with the watermarks
